Would any #9 end up looking like a budget Kane? Yes

Is there any value spending massive sums for a player in a role that averaged less than 20 touches per game for this manager in his last job? No

Are people thinking with their emotions and still hurt by Kane leaving? Yes

Are they still evaluating Richy in the context of a Conte system where the striker is like a God? Yes
It's good to see the Richarlison Defence League is running strong.

I'd rather give him a run of games this season then panic buy a number 9 for 100 million on deadline day hoping they'll replace Kane, which will never happen anyway.

I dunno…

Depends on outgoings as well so you might be right.

The Kane sale will have the pressure on Levy though

We're at +£50m net spend. With the Kane money. Where is it coming from? I genuinely think the £150m cash injection last year was to buy Kane's replacement before Kane goes and that is Richarlison. And he ain't gonna be good enough.

Saw an interesting stat today.

Bobby Robson signed just 14 players in his 13 years in charge of Ipswich.

Bit different to nowadays

When Bobby Robson was coach of Ipswich there was max 1 substitution allowed from a max of 5 players on the bench. I'd bet my arse that Ipswich rarely had anywhere near 5 on the bench as they probably had less than 16 players on the books.

The game was also much slower meaning injuries would only really have happened when someone got their leg broken by a thug. And no one would get knackered plodding about and need to subbed off.

I know they called in a favour and sold a load of old toot to Saudi but they must be way past any sort of FFP limits, if such a thing matters anymore.

The same Saudi's that bought from them this summer, are also funding their purchases via clearlake capital.

The premier league think it's fine though. And our media "experts" are too busy picking them to challenge for the title.

It will be too late by the time the premier league realizes that all these chelsea assets will end up in the Saudi league and that league is accepted into the CL or part of a new super league with Real, Barca, and Juve.

There is no net spend per window. That's just for TV graphics that sky and the crew use to get interactions.

In real terms we paid 6m to Juve for Kulu this window and probably about 10m to Sporting for Porro.

VDV will be in installments as well.

A lot of what we have to spend will be based on how much Bayern paid up front for Kane and by the sounds of it, Levy rinsed them.
