What annoys me is that Eze was a standout star at QPR and if ENIC were any good they could, and should, have got him for £17m back in 2020.

But no our business professionals spent £13m on Matt Doherty, £11m on Joe Rodon and £25m on Reguilon instead.

I suppose with the way the club is if we had signed him he'd be another John Bostock by now.

Depends what the manager at the time wanted - I can't imagine Mourhino, Nuno or Conte would have wanted Eze or Maddison. Hence we've just bought Maddison

I'd have certainly backed buying Eze from QPR - think he was only sold for £20m ish.

kulu is too predictable

cuts in left and tries shooting, its fine if you are robben and have pace to destroy teams but when your slow and predictable you are easy to mark and rico henry had the easiest game ever

It was pretty clear what Jordan said. They are making a profit, as he said, this year. Present tense. Here and now. He's gaming accounting profits on players and carrying values on the balance sheet.
He also said it will likely catch up with them in future, which is pretty plain to see to all.
Seems pretty simple to me!
Not in real terms they aren't, they have bought for huge sums which are spread out over a number of years, fine, but the money for Havertz and Mount will also be spread over a number of years too, which he doesn't mention at all.

Spreading transfer fees out over an agreed period isn't some new trick that only Chelsea have cottoned on to, everyone does it.

If there's someway that it slips through FFP by fancy bookwork then fine, bit in absolute terms they are not in profit

Then we're back to the question of, how are Chelsea doing it to the extent they are when nobody else is? Most obvious answer to me is that it's just an absolutely terrible idea.

This hopefully doesn't end up with the Boehly hoard coming for Orban...

Sensible decision by Wahi. They are just going to park him at Strasbourg until the saudis buy him.

I actually quite like this kid, he's definitely got something about, I think he's robust enough for the PL, decent technique, scores, and can carry the ball too. Makes some chances too.

Based on the tiny (YouTube) bit I've seen of Orban, I would say Wahi would seem to suit Ange's structure better.

He's the one who comes with some baggage right? Got his dick out in public?

What does this even mean "Too much for those who already lit up for the time being"
Feels like a google translate issue.

I'd assume 'those who lit up' probably refers to us (i.e. lighting up the phone line making an enquiry?)
