I don't believe that Monaco will do an acceptable bid.

In which case Sanchez will be sold for a higher price to another club.

Monaco apparently low balling Fulham on Tosiin - which Fulham have rejected,

So if Tosin doesn't want to move he stays at Fulham (which he's been campaigning to leave for 6 - 12 months as he thinks he should be at a better club) as his contract has 12 months or so to run or makes a decision to move to a club who can afford him. So down to him whether he wants to move to Spurs (but not a guaranteed starter) or not. No different to lots of transfers - 2 clubs, player agent, players family etc all need to agree

Don’t think I agree about the Bissouma hype job to be honest. He’s genuinely a great player, who was just wasted last year, which makes it easy to forget how good he was at Brighton.

I think he’s really, really good. I don’t think he’s our new Modric combined with Dembele or vastly superior to Caicedo or some of the other stuff I’ve heard on here.

Just a very good midfielder who is finally fit again and put in a wonderful first performance in the league.

For people who have seen more of Tosin than I have - I know he’s good in the air. Is he quick? How would he fare in a high line?

Well, I actually believe we finally have the 'right' manager and have been making some solid signings recently, so I expect in a few years time we will look back at last season and maybe this one as blips in a period where overall we finished above them far more often than not. But I guess only time will tell which of us is right. :)
Yeah I think we could very much look back at it like that if we actually back this manager properly, the same way they are backing theirs.

But all I’m saying is don’t expect that lot to just fall away or think that last season was just luck, it’s consequence of giving a manager you believe in everything he needs. I believe this is the “right” guy as well but this squad still needs heavy investment.

He's a shade faster than Romero I'd say, actually think he'd be a good depth signing. Biggest issue with him apparently is mental lapses, positioning gaff, scuffing a clearance.. not issues with his technical/physical limitation but in his concentration or consistency.

Only if there is another club interested in buying him at a higher price. His contract ends next year so I think clubs will just wait for January if they can't get him now.

Am I alone in thinking Orban doesn't look like a missing piece of our puzzle? He's tiny and not blisteringly quick. He's only had one season and it usually takes that long for defenders to figure people out. I can't see why we would take a huge punt on this guy. I mean, I hope he's the second coming of Aguero and we get him for £5m, but neither is likely.

Our puzzle is nowhere near being formed, so I don't necessarily agree.

This is it, people get carried away and then seem to get disappointed and even angry when players don't reach the impossible heights projected on to them.

Like you say - Bissouma is a very good midfielder with his own set of talents and should be consistently judged against the player he is.

Yes I agree with you on Bissouma. I also like your tendency to bring people back to earth - people do get carried away with their assessments.

However, given the fact Caicedo and Bissouma are similar in potential, the difference in cost is staggering. Age will surely be a big explanatory factor. I think we got a very good deal for Bissouma though.

Its up to Tosin to find another club who can afford him otherwise he stays at Fulham for the whole of next season (even if someone agrees to buy in January) based upon Monaco's low ball bid. So Spurs bid accepted in principal by Fulham ..... down to player.... unless Spurs move on

14 days to go and the likes of Dier are still at the club, where's the proper rebuild we have been waiting since 2018?

We have outearned Woolwich every year in the last 5 and look at them now?

Revenue thieving Enicunts have no excuses, enough is enough
