Not really, if we buy Eze that's probably half or more of the Kane money gone. Eze and Johnson is pretty much all of it.We very much do need to spend 60m on a CB...
And with the Kane money we should have enough to spend in other positions.

Oh I'm not saying it won't. I said I'm reserving judgement. But it is a distinct possibility it/he won't be successful. So in the, premature, context of "why isn't Son effective in Ange's system" its arguable whether or not it's the olayer or the system that's an odd duck in the PL.
As I said, premature in any case as we've played 1 match and we know that Son is a streaky player to begin with. He's entirely likely to go a month looking like shit and then have 12 goal/assists in 8 matches.

Hope they are not taking La Piste!!
PS .. They have Doku , Mayer and Le Fee where by a player swap could work for all parties
We should prioritise a top CB and an attacker, not 2 attackers. Not really, if we buy Eze that's probably half or more of the Kane money gone. Eze and Johnson is pretty much all of it.
Go for Tapsoba and we have 3 quality CBs.
It also means that Chelsea might gazump us for Brennan Johnson.
We already have two top CBs for this system, and our attackers are not great. We should prioritise a top CB and an attacker, not 2 attackers.
You can try and replicate Pep's style of play but you need players of a similar quality to what he has. Postecoglou's approach might work but the idea that any one manager has found a formula that can't be countered probably doesn't hold up. Remember when Bielsa was at Leeds? A very aggressive attacking approach that caught the league off guard for awhile and then the league adjusted and Bielsa didn't. Postecoglou should have some success with his approach. The league will adjust to it and either Postecoglou will adjust or he'll be somewhere else in a few years.

All other top clubs have strength in depth.
