As I said, premature in any case as we've played 1 match and we know that Son is a streaky player to begin with. He's entirely likely to go a month looking like shit and then have 12 goal/assists in 8 matches.

Postecoglou's approach might work but the idea that any one manager has found a formula that can't be countered probably doesn't hold up. Remember when Bielsa was at Leeds? A very aggressive attacking approach that caught the league off guard for awhile and then the league adjusted and Bielsa didn't. Postecoglou should have some success with his approach. The league will adjust to it and either Postecoglou will adjust or he'll be somewhere else in a few years.

Evolution is required to survive and thrive. Pep has done that successfully.

Ange will have to adapt and evolve to succeed.
