Why? Leverkusen are in no rush to sell their best defender who's got a contract until 2026. They just got €55m for Diaby. Also YOU decided the price should be in pounds

What we want in order of preference is probably
- permanent sale for decent fee
- loan covering all wages with obligation to buy at decent fee
- loan covering all or majority wages.

This is true. It would require UEFA initiating something broadly. It’s a pipe dream, but all the outrageous transfer fees and wages are getting fucking ridiculous.

I will always admire and respect what he did for this football club, the prime Poch years were something special and any fan should be proud of what we achieved under him.

What's really strange is that there are still a few Spurs fans who admire and respect Daniel Levy
Romero is 25, VdV is 22 and Tabsoba is 24.
Seeing as we're only likely to be playing two of them, and haven't got CL rotation needs, I'm not sure why we'd spend another £60-80m on a centreback. We've seen in the past that young players signed for potential who don't play, quickly lose a ton of value. Far better to sign a solid experienced defender as cover for one of the main pairing and to assist with their development. I've said it before but signing Naybet made Ledley a better defender.

I'd prefer Eze - known quantity with PL experience, versatile and HG as well (we are short of 'quality' HG's )
