Oh there's a fucking surprise, once again a load of grown men melting down over something that never actually happened lmao

Ya'll need to stop doing this, you believe anything you read purely because of desperation, you get used to the idea of it and when it doesn't happen you all run back to blame Levy because it aligns with your confirmation bias, it's so pathetic 🤣

So gullible, when will you lot ever learn...

We're not a serious club, these last minute trolley dashes are killing us and we always end up short in one area or another.

It's almost as if we made too good a start for Levy's liking and he's decided to bring us all down a peg or two. He's a fucking Gooner in disguise, it's the only explanation.

They've had all summer to get rid of some players that are no longer required, had all summer to line up a replacement forward once Kane had gone, had all summer to get the squad into good shape going into the new season.

We've made some good signings but not enough and there's only so much Ange can do.

Tuesday night proved something that is Debbie Downers have been going on about most of the summer, that our squad isn't deep enough and we need more quality. Man City make 5/6/7 changes they still have a really strong team, we do the same and the team looks like relegation fodder.

Still, no need to melt, I'm sure everything will work out okay.

Fair comparison to a state owned club

You're still asking for players to get close to or exceed their best ever seasons across multiple different positions. That's an incredibly unlikely scenario.

Sure, maybe 2/3 of them could, but to expect so many to repeat it is extremely optimistic. E.g. Bentancur scored 2 Serie A goals in his 5 seasons with Juve but you're citing a half-season where he managed to score 5, an outlier. You might argue he was playing a different role but surely he's not gonna play such an incredibly attacking role for us that it makes that stat worthless. In any case, he'll be out till Jan/Feb, if he even returns to his old self.

You're also expecting players like Emerson, Skipp, PEH to score a few when they most likely will get the most token minutes at best. BTW, Skipp has scored only one competitive goal in his Spurs career.

That's just asking for too much from too many different players.
But surely the idea about Angeball is that there will be far more opportunities for far more players to score, therefore, the figures being bandied about do not seem that far off being possible?

The bloke who runs the site has posted doubling down this morning. Probably scared the donations will be hit!

Making my eyes bleed reading their posts now. Wish it wasn’t my guilty pleasure, I just find it too funny that we have a fan base that actually laps all that shit up.

After all the ITK got shown up YET AGAIN, they have now fabricated a story whereby the deal was all agreed but Levy stepped in last minute and pulled the plug on it.

The fucking fools on there are asking for ‘clarification’ on exactly what Levy did. Because of course, these ITK chumps will know this, right?

It can now generate 100s more posts of the lemmings thanking the ITK for all their insight, whilst slagging off Levy for ruining ‘the deal’.

We were linked to Fati when Paratici was still here and linked to him before the Barca game.

But tbh missing out on him is small fry in comparison to the reality that Sanchez Der and Hojberg haven't been replaced and clearly can't play this system.
They absolutely weren't serious ones, almost every Club in Europe it seems was "linked" because Barca is absolutely desperate to get his wages off their books.

Agree with the rest. But our issues aren't unique all PL Clubs are struggling to get rid of players as the wages are high compared to those in other Leagues in Europe. These issues have been occurring for a decade and are getting worse since COVID as many European clubs haven't recovered.
