Levy and ENIC have shown less ambition this window than Bournemouth and Brighton.

24 hours remain to salvage it all. And that 'salvaging' hinges on Brennan Johnson, Lloyd Kelly, and maybe a Chelsea reject in Gallagher.

Levy has shown Ange his hand early at least. No more surprises from here on out for big Ange. Levy's showing him how it is at Spurs right off the bat.
Ange knew what he was getting into in terms of the level of investment and ambition, but I'm sure he didn't know what he was getting into in terms of what an excruciating nightmare every last little move must always be.

By all accounts Ange wants Johnson and Gallagher.

what striker could we of got in that people would of been happy with? there is none. you hope someone who knows what they are doing has spotted this veliz and he turns out quality in a couple years, but there is no one we could replace kane with.

weve done well with maddison and VDV. thats strengthened two important positions we were seriously lacking in. bissouma is like a new 100m signing in midfield, sarr is now coming of age and being trusted. things are looking good.
Mate, our current forward group is midtable. We needed to just go hard and try to to sign a proper talent from Europe with the Kane money, but instead we're bringing in mediocrity. We'd be better off not signing any of these and playing academy players as backups.

I will be astonished if we dont buy a striker tomorrow. Sell a 30 goal a season striker and dont replace them just defies logic. I harbour hope we have a deal in place tomorrow that weve kept quiet.

It probably isn’t for him although he would have been used to a better run ship at the City Group by all accounts.
Most of the histrionics have been generated at places like this and on Twitter. Thank the lord that most of the Chicken Little’s here aren’t in positions of responsibility or didn’t grow up as Everton fans.

Typical Levynomics though, wait til last orders, full of cheap booze, grab any old pig in knickers to take home as it's better than being alone.

He does this window after window, what surprises me the most is the meltdown here, we all knew this was coming, best to just strap in, grab the popcorn, watch the deadline day hysterics and then grumble, bitch and moan after the window how he's done us like a kipper again
Spot on.

The only move we really needed to make this summer is get that cunt out of OUR club. For ever. He and all his minions. Fuck them.

Which is concerning as I'd think that he would like players who actually have technical skills.

Johnson I can understand at least as his profile is missing from the squad, but Gallagher is a worse version of Sarr.
Gallagher has a good shot on him and loves making runs into the box, so he'll do well in the RCM spot, definitely far better than Skipp. He can also be the 6 in a pinch.
Like I said before though, my concern that he'll get assurances from the club for a starting spot to get him to sign, and I prefer seeing Sarr as an RCM.
