Vicario and VDV were also supposed to be average, people really only warmed up to them after seeing them play in this system, maybe the same will happen for Johnson and Gallagher.
Not true...they were unknown quantities (to most on here) which is significantly different to being rated as average. Johnson and Gallagher do not have that luxury...they are known quantities and to many that quantity is not very substantial.

It is a bit harsh and he's lively without question, but I just saw a real case of the Lucas Moura's with him, and without quite Moura's pace and athleticism.

A good player, but not one top clubs have been clamoring for, nor one Fulham were all that determined to start.
Villa and Leipzig both wanted him, I dunno about top clubs but they both generally buy good players.

Dunno. Sheff Utd fans hate their current owners, a lot of West Ham fans loath the Dildo Twins as were and Brady Lady...

Don't see too many Man U fans happy with the Glaziers presiding over their downfall from being the biggest club in the world to occasional top 4 botherers resulting to loaning Tottenham dregs to save their season....... Sabotaging their Qatari buy-out over and over for the last 18 months is proving quite the cherry too.

Messaged a mate in outrage at us paying £40m+ for Brennan, but his point is that in a world where the likes of Lewis Hall is £35m and Cole Palmer £40m+ that seems fair.

I guess that's the state of the market, especially for HG talent. If we had Kane tied to a long term contract instead of just 1 he would be going for £200m+, surely.

I've never understood why people think the Summer transfer window and Levy / ENIC not somehow not intertwined.

Love them or hate them, / Him,.. Levy is the most instrumental part of it. He's the leading role. It's an unavoidable fact.
People can’t even point to a DOF anymore to deflect the criticism

Up until the last day or two many of the critical voices have actually been subdued in this thread anyway because of the constant moaning and crying 😢 of a handful of posters.
Levy is without doubt tied to the club. However you bring him up when we lose then forget his connection to the club when we win. Of all posters you know well how to make the levy narrative suit yourself.

I have been ringing around locally and think I have a solution to our Ndombele problem.
