Palmer to Chelsea is a weird one. He's been getting more and more game time for City and has scored a couple of big goals for them recently. I suppose he felt the signing of Doku meant that his chances would descrease again. I think there's a very good player there from what I've seen of him, but never thought for a moment he would end up at Chelsea.

Palmer is probably looking at Foden who is a generational talent; even if he's a twat and I think that terms is overused, it does apply here imho. It took years of slowly getting more and more game time for Pep to fully trust him. Not sure it's even the case now!

Salah has won all he can at Liverpool, so okay but my Lord.

He wants to leave the club, maybe for a last challenge or more likely the 1 - 2 million pounds per week he will earn (get)

I say he wants to leave, because like Kane, he only had to stay I'm staying. I accept as an Arab he will be seen as a figurehead of sorts.

When is all this excess going to stop?

It hasn’t even started yet

Liverpool turning down £150 million for Salah seems the wrong move. He's 31 and has 2 years on his contract. Still a great player but that is a lot of money.
Maybe they are hoping to get upto 200m. And to be fair , unlike son who is aging really badly, last season he had more goals/assists than everyone in europe except haaland and mbappe. Seems to have started well this season too.

How the fuck do they keep getting such big offers for their young players???

Ian Maatsen is leaning towards staying at Chelsea, despite the Blues agreeing a deal with Burnley for him to return to Turf Moor.

The expectation is that Maatsen will decide to remain at Stamford Bridge, having started the season positively under head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino likes Maatsen, which may encourage him to fight for a place at Chelsea, although there is stll time for Burnley to try to change his mind.

Burnley have agreed to take Maatsen back on loan with the obligation of a £31.5million deal, including add-ons, but face an uphill battle to convince the player.
