A bit underwhelming yes but we’ll be ok. Johnson’s pace on the right will help us greatly. Solomon/Gil Kulu/Johnson on the wings ain’t bad, and I only leave out Son since I expect him to play more ST as we didn’t buy any other STs this window.

Scarlett needs another loan, as do others not set to get any significant minutes right now. Hopefully Levy and co can get this done.

As things currently stand we are an injury or two away from Davies and Sanchez running the high line. Lack of a CB means it’s poor.

Yup, we basically have a starting 11 and nothing else. Yeah, we can sub on PEH, Skipp, Solomon, Perisic etc. for a bit, but you definitely wouldn't want to spend a season with a serious injury to any of our starters, except Richarlison.
Any of Vicario, Romero, VDV, Udogie, Bissouma or Maddison go down and we're a much weaker side. Increasing geometrically with each missing piece on that list.

And of course by "go down" that includes "are substituted for in the 77th minute"

I think midfield and winger depth is ok.

Center back is very concerning and a long term injury to a CB could turn this into a disastrous window.

Cross your fingers.

Don’t understand the Dier hate, you would all do the same in his position!
Bro I would have been on the first plane to Riyadh, believe me

Dier is a weird one, I can see why he doesn't want to commit to a club when he can chose one next year.

Weird we rejected a straight loan, could have saved circa 5mil in wages doing that. Better than nothing...

Of course I wouldn't, and nearly no footballer would. He had offers from Premier League teams, who knows what offers he'll get in a year's time, after not playing for over a year?

From what I gather there has been virtually no concrete interest, I think he will go to the MLS next season on a free. He has a contract with the club, do you expect him to just terminate it himself all for the glory of Tottenham?

Cavemen like you don’t understand what good football is.

Bassouma again? You’ll get his name right by 2026.
Hopefully I will by then. Until then I am so relieved I have experts like yourself to show me the right way.

Hopefully I'll get to the point that, "Loosing with Good Football and Good DNA" is better than " Winning a Trophy while playing Boring Football".

I am battling with that one a bit. I was under the impression Winning was the reason for playing.

There are posters that think every window is 2/10 but somehow we’ve 5 top 4 finishes in the last decade. I’d say the same about posters that say every window is 9/10 but there aren’t many.

Any poster that is always negative or always positive isn’t being objective.
Ahemm''

26 people rated the Rodon / Doherty window 10/10...(Yes. TWENTY SIX) 😆
AND 144 rated it 9/10

If you don't believe, open the post below and take a look.

(It was actually much higher before people started changing their vote as the season turned to shit)
