In case anyone was wondering why the second Trust protest didn't happen.
Our first demonstration before last month’s match against Manchester United was a huge success and it was our intention to repeat and build on that before our game against Sheffield United last weekend.
Sadly, due to the unavailability of a number of board members due to illness we were unable to stage the demonstration in the way we had planned.
Even 30 minutes before the planned 2pm start we had board members in the area with the plan to proceed.
When it became apparent the demonstration could not be executed to the standards we had hoped, one board member stayed in the area and spoke to a number of supporters to explain the issues encountered. We would like to thank those who were there for attending and those who exchanged their details on Saturday for future case studies highlighting how they are being priced out of the game.
We will detail our next steps shortly and apologise to those supporters who came to join us on Saturday.
Currently we have two meetings arranged with the Club so we can discuss the finer points of our ticketing campaign and will update members as and when those meetings go ahead.
Our Fan Advisory Board members have also raised our concerns directly with Club Chairman Daniel Levy.

The manager is by far the most important and influential person at the club
Which is the reason why I never was or will be joining any protest against the owners - they really aren't that important......even chucking billions on transfers around is pointless if the manager is right

I showed up, couldn't see anyone where they said they were going to be so went back into The Corner Pin... silver linings and all that!!
The Chairman is the one constant factor. Levy chooses the DOF and manager, he sets the budget they can work with and has final say on transfers.
He's not a hands-off kind of guy either. There are numerous occasions when he has been more involved than he should have in football decisions.
Looks like he's made a good one with Ange but after the chaos of his last few years, he's still got a lotof good will to earn back from the fans who have paid high prices and tolerated some directionless, leaderless rubbish for several years now.

"There was one as always just a very poor turnout. We are always there.
Just didn't get a chance to promote it before hand which was my fault"
