Transfers January Transfer Thread 2024

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

ACL injury to Rico Henry. Could be a decent opportunity to move on one of Reguilon, Sessegnon, Davies on a permanent deal in January.

OK, don't take this the wrong way... but I just love looking at Eze's smile... there's summit about it... it IS an aura of goodness and happiness that Sonny (and maybe even Bissouma) also have... get him and his good vibes into the club asap!

...I said don't take this the wrong way!!

How exactly are we meant to take this? :gallashmm:

Agreed. Eze looks like what this forum would be in human form, just a pure kind soul.

But none of those headers really hurt us.

Maybe aerial duals are something that analytics are identifying as being less valuable.

I Liverpool hardly cross high for headers bc analytics are bad. Other than corners and FKs of course.
We didn't have any lead to serious trouble but he lost some very winnable headers from opposition goal kicks, which did become bit nervy before being cleaned up.

Maybe liverpool don't cross for headers because their best header of the ball is Jota and he hardly plays.

It's definitely a problem.

He can improve it for sure.

Who are the long ball or direct teams that might cause us problems with it?

Brentford Everton ?

I thought he had the most trouble so far against Sheff Utd.

I can see this being an issue against west ham, forest, Palace, and Fulham , possibly also Liverpool.

Winning headers isn't just about clearing crosses. There are also those long balls from keepers aimed directly at target man strikers or fast wingers. VDV should win those duels against the CFs, or clear ball in the air before it reaches the winger.

Episode 14 Nbc GIF by One Chicago

Vlahovic suddenly on fire - 4 goals and an assist in first 4 Juve Serie A games and 3 goals in 4 euro qualifier games for Serbia.

Not sure how badly Juve need the money but … someone we should take a serious look at - if Juve willing to sell.
Probably missed the boat now (at least for reasonable money) if he's managed to turn it around. Looks like it would have been a smart gamble this summer.

Then again, we always have Don Paratici for his Italian connections...

Fuck Toney and putting any time into him.

Belongs with the other cheats from woolwich.

I don't like his personality one bit. Our dressing room seems to be fantastic right now, and I'd be wary about adding a twat like him (or Sancho, for that matter) into the mix. Suits Woolwich down to the ground.

He also didn't seem to take much personal responsibility in that interview. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him cock up again.

Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole. Walking antithesis of "no dickheads".
