Player Luka Vuskovic

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Nice, can’t register him until 18, but guess he can train for a few weeks.

Plus, it helps make him HG that way Football Chap Football Chap (get your geek on, Footi Chap, is that correct?)
Think his transfer would have to go through Summer 2025 because of the Brexit rules for signing overseas players under 18 and he would then be able to become both HG for prem and club-trained for UEFA

Him and Veliz (with Sarr and Udogie last year) herald a great reset, in our squad doldrums (Sarr and Vuskovic both become HG by 21).

If we get 50% of these to “Hit”, we will save hundreds of Millions.

Exciting signing. Gvardiol went for 80m as a 20 year old so this could be us doing a Leipzig and getting in before the valuations get silly.

It's about time we operated like this.

Great succession planning too.

VDV and Romero to lead for the next couple of years. I sense Romero will end up at Madrid/Barca eventually.

It gives time for Dorrington/Phillips/Vuksovic to get more experience and be ready to step in. If even one of them ends up a top PL player we will have done well.

And we've seen Ange is not afraid to throw young players in if they are ready. I'd be disappointed if Dier gets the nod ahead of Phillips this season as it would mean Ange doesn't think he's ready. Sadly judging by the latest squads it probably will be Dier.

I like this sort of business. Do our scouting well, yes taking a chnace and not all the players will work out but as ou say if we get 50% to work thats great.

Best of luck to him.

We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement for Luka Vuskovic to join the Club in 2025 from Hajduk Split, in a deal which will run until 2030.

Croatian defender Luka, 16, progressed through the ranks at Hajduk Split to make his professional debut in February, 2023, to become the youngest player to feature in the Croatian top flight. He registered his first goal the following month against NK Osijek, becoming the youngest-ever goalscorer in the club’s history.

To date, he has made a total of 11 senior appearances for the Croatian side in all competitions, scoring once and last term, helped the team claim the Croatian Cup. Luka also played a key role in the Under-19’s route to the 2022/23 UEFA Youth League final, where they would eventually finish as runners-up.

Capped by his country at youth level, Luka has made five appearances for Croatia’s Under-17 side, scoring once.

Mate, big Ange used Hojbjerg ahead of Dier, he’s an expensive training player now until Christmas, when he should leave with Lloris if he has any self respect for his career.

Think Emerson, Davies and Hojbjerg should/would all play CB ahead of Dier, given the physical requisites Angeball CB’s require.

Philips will hopefully be ready in a few months to be that 6th Choice (5th or 4th should Dier/Davies/Hojbjerg leave in Jan), but a loan is much likelier I suspect.

Vuskovic receives glowing review from old teammate

Fossati, who shared a dressing room with Vuskovic in Croatia, is sure that the centre-back is capable of making the required step up to the Premier League.

The former Cagliari midfielder, who left Hajduk to join Romanian side Universitatea Cluj this summer, told TuttoMercatoWeb: “At Hajduk, I was particularly struck by Luka Vuskovic, a 16-year-old central defender. Last year he was a regular starter with us in the last month. So much so that huge clubs moved for him.

“I remember there was talk of Manchester City, Woolwich, Milan and Juventus, but he can probably go to Tottenham. Physically he’s fit, has nice feet, great personality. Vuskovic is a really good player, very good.”

We got to check the birth certificate on this lad. I work with 16/17 year olds every day and I've never seen one who looks like that.

What a unit.
I just thought that.

Youngsters now definitely seem taller to me. I'm 183cm so roughly average height, but sometimes I feel like a dwarf when I'm walking down a uni corridor these days.
