Levy In or Levy Out

Money is more important to the club than cups, but probably the other PL chairman would probably feel the same.
Going to football, is both a social and entertainment thing for most, I go to support the team and hopefully get entertained.
I don't go with the expectation that, this club can be PL or CL champions, that is restricted to the money clubs an elite group.

£10,000 fine or 10 point deduction?

Guaranteed Levy takes the points deduction.

Abominable chairman only in it for financial gain and using our club to (successfully) achieve his other long term goals.

The fact we stopped winning trophies when he arrived is testament to that.

We were joint record FA cup winners when ENIC jumped on the gravy train and had won 3 major European trophies when it was much more difficult to qualify...... .Let that sink in, guys

We were known as a cup side when they took over. Now when Tottenham & trophies is mentioned it’s…….

“The case was heard by an independent arbitration panel 15 years ago,” a spokeswoman for the FA said.

Nothing to see here, just Sky Andrew and Matt Lawton trying to stir shit.
Feels like the league is just going over all of their old cases before the independent regulator is introduced so they can claim that everything is in order.

possibly to implement some kind of praxis for when it is time to make a sentence in the Chelsea and City cases as well.

Ah then it’s not the club. How would they sanction Defoe or would to be a fine.
"It was also heard that Levy enlisted the services of Stuart Peters, an agent who was licensed, to act for Tottenham but that a representation contract — required under FA rules — did not appear to be in place. Levy agreed to pay Peters about around £1 million for his role in the £7.5 million transfer."

if the FA dealt with it all them years ago then why is it bring dragged up again now? sounds like nonsense just to get some headlines going and make it seem like a bigger shit storm.

You're being disingenuous with what you think there.

Your honest opinion is that you Re convinced it is guaranteed Levy would take a 10 point reduction over paying a £10,000 fine?

I think it sunk in years ago mate, the club are kept fattened up just enough to keep them within touching distance of the big boys.
From the day ENIC arrived, financial gain was why, they purchased the club.
And those words are from levy himself, they had no interest in football.

Yeah… nothing to do with city and Chelsea coming on to the scene.
What year did city stop us Winning the title? Chelsea just once I think. As for the cups chelsea have beating us a few times but regularly we go out to crap & average teams. What about Europe? Europa? Even the conference is too much for enic. Even West Ham have won that!
League cup 13 times neither Chelsea or city won it & same with the fa cup. I don’t think either stopped us winning any of the European competitions we were in.
Anyway. We will never agree. You think 1 league cup in 22 years is a decent return where as I don’t.

Ps. You actually are arguing against many levy lovers who maintain spending hasn’t got anything do with success. Good on you! At least you can admit it does!
It is hard with city spending so much BUT before then it was United buying up the best talent & dominating. You are basically admitting enic don’t spend enough to win things which is at least honest of you.
Also Woolwich have won a lot more than us in this period so you are saying we can’t achieve what Woolwich have under enic & levy.

Tbf the points deduction would send us lower down the table and you get much more than 10k per position in the table so ..

Lol, yeah I was thinking that after I posted it -

If Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive point was that Levy would take the cheaper option, it doesn't even make sense.

All that does is go to show how idiotic even making the argument is in the first place, and if that is what someones honest opinion is on the situation, then they likely arent worth listening to about it.

This looks like dirty warfare to me. Chelsea and City know they are in the shit, so what better than a load of stories about other clubs possibly up to no good to help muddy the waters. Expect more of these "stories" over the next few months.
