Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

But on different note, I actually noticed here and there that after run of 5 games and 1 point some fans have indirectly started to ask "how much time does Ange have like this"...

I mean... come on...
Yea, today was 100% his cockup and we actually fielded very strong side. But still, the current slump started from factors way out of his control.

He faces the most difficult situation so far for Spurs, that much is certain.
I think the run of Chelsea, Wolves, Villa, City was more or less a free pass, after all the eliminations and injuries. But today, after having had time to recoup, having Cuti, Udogie, Bissouma all back... it means that from starting players we were without VDV, Madders, Bentancur and possibly Sarr (who was on the bench). Missing 3 or 4 players is nothing unheard of, so it has to be done better in such situation.

Obviously not the end of the world. And lets all remember how Ange have lifted the spirit and general feel around our club. We tune in with excitement even after going winless in 4 games.

He needs to come up with adjustments, but there should be 0% doubt that he should have our full support.

Absolute bullshit.
Does Levy force him at gunpoint to play Kulusevski at RW and cut back 100% of the times, so every EPL player already knows that ?
Our attack has been shit for so many games, but Ange has done nothing to change it. But SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE.
Hahaha :roflmao::roflmao:

Manager # 17. ARE. YOU. READY........

you know what will be really worrying. is if he actually changes that front 3 for newcastle. if newcastle actually come out and try to impose themselves then thats the front 3 you want. if he changes it because they were crap in a game that they werent fit for like tonight then that is fucking alarm bells.

That is the stupidest thing Ive read for very long time.

Of course you can make attack as a whole more clinical. If you actually take defenses by the storm and everyone in defense are spurting their lungs out to get back to their positions, their focus is very different than in situation when they have been standing and expecting your cross for past 30 seconds.

It is about gameplan to also at times use rapid and direct approach and unsettle defenses.
But today there were two options - either ALL THREE ATTACKERS blatantly ignored gaffer instructions every second they were on the pitch.... OR that the instructions given directed to invert every single chance and keep passing it through middle.

Your call what seems more logical from these options.
If you think Ange wanted Deki and Johnson to be hesitant when they were in the final third today I really don't know what to tell you.

I am not saying that Ange as manager has been found out. But this way of attacking obviously have. Always be prepared for cutbacks, pack the middle of the field and voilaa... you have 0 thing to worry about.

Today is 100% on Ange in 1st half we had all the possession. We moved the ball reasonably fast. But fuck me, if his instructions were to play backheel passes on border of West Ham box and just swing it from one wing to another, always letting West Ham get their lines in place... then you get what we got. ZERO clear cut chances from open play.

Aim of football team is to score more goals than opposition. But with that kind of slow pondering and jogging this will not happen.
He has to come up with REAL changes. If not, we have no option to get into top 6 not to mention top 4. Cannot be so one-dimesional.
I’m not saying Ange is blameless. He’s clearly got a very stubborn streak, basically to a fault, and it’s been costing us.

But unless Pep Guardiola fancies a mid-season London switch. I cannot think of one singular reason why changing managers would help us even one iota. It would send us into a further tailspin and make us an utter laughingstock.

Levy needs to pull his finger out and get him real attacking quality and real trustworthy defenders. If he’s still failing the exact same way and is still this naive in 2 years, then we’ll have a conversation.

And what happend with Villa?

This is coming from you, the most self depreciating loser on this forum.

If you're not making jokes at the expense of our club, you're just constantly criticising it...wake up bozo.
He criticises the owners. Not the club.

You, on the other hand, belittle our club, think we should accept mediocrity, and talk up the players and ambition of our biggest rivals.

You're nothing more than a patronizing troll
