Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The gaps in our squad are wholly and solely because :

1 From 2016 - 20 managers were allowed too great a say in acquisitions, so with a few exceptions such as Hojbjerg, Sanchez and Moura none of the others made much impact for over a season on Spurs first team, and Hojbjerg the only one to nail down a first team position in a few seasons - personally regard them all as squad players. So when we started our rebuild in 2021 under Paratici he had a worn out ageing squad from Poch which is gradually being upgraded (squads are NOT buld in one window). Same position as ManU have got themselves into

2 After Poch sold all the academy players in first team squad (except Kane) for £100m to invest in the likes of Sissoko he failed to develop young players. Classic case was buying Foyth as a youngster for £10m, only allowing him to train with first team, no youth games or loans. Then being surprised when he gave away 2 penalties on his debut,. Played about a dozen more games before being sold to Villareal at a loss. Hence no youngsters coming through into first team.

So atm our 'gaps' are mainly players who Paratici has not upgraded - and to upgrade a full squad means getting in a lot of players who are good but not always paying top dollar.

Still another summer or two to go to replenish the squad but he's made excellent progress - and I'm sure most clubs would be delighted to have 'cheap picks' such as Sarr, Vicario, Udogie et al in the squad - its what ManU would absolutely salivate over

A disagree is yet another proof that @JoanThomas or Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive or whatever he has changed his name to now hasn't a scoobiedo about anything.

Mind you for the man/woman who stated for about 5 or 10 years that a new Stadium would never be built whilst Levy was at Spurs - and that was even after the foundations were in place, its nothing new. Nobody else could miss something the size of Spurs stadium, although he/she did

And never acknowledges how crap his knowledge has been.

This is the shopping list I've sent to L & L
PS! I wonder who would pay £117.3m for Marcus Rashfordm, or £90.4m for Cole Palmer, £78.1m for Rico Lewis, £68.6m Aaron Ramsdale , and £64.4m) for Levi Colwill 🤔
If Ramsdale is £68.6m then Viacrio must be worth at the twice as much

The 12 English players to make it along with Saka and Bellingham were Phil Foden (£168.7m), Marcus Rashford (£117.3m), Cole Palmer (£90.4m), Declan Rice (£89.4m), Harry Kane (£82.4m), Rico Lewis (£78.1m), Aaron Ramsdale (£68.6m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£65.5m), Jack Grealish (£65.5m) and Levi Colwill (£64.4m).

TOP 10 MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS

1. Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid and England) - £230.4million
2. Erling Haaland (Manchester City and Norway) - £216.4m
3. Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid and Brazil) - £215.6m
4. Rodrygo (Real Madrid and Brazil) - £213.6m

*According to CIES
Foden worth twice Harry Kane. Who are these people.

Stinks of money saver option to me.

IF we want a left winger, could have gone for Jota and he knows where the goal is.

But, if it was Ange that want him, then I'll give him a chance. But 27 isn't young and personally I would have gone for someone younger with potential.
Jota gave up on football for the easy money of Saudi , Timo failed at Chelsea yet wants to come back and prove himself, I know which of the 2 I prefer!
