Fucking hell. People seem to really be struggling with this.
How much longer do you think the almost 31 year old Davies will be here?
Usually, it's a good idea to get your replacement in first. I know that's a novel concept.
and only spurs fans would accept it and seemingly revel in it tooOnly Spurs could leave a new manager short at CB, then have a winter break to get a CB in time … but still manage to still the manager short at CB then give them a cheap forward on loan instead.
If you get someone as good as Davies that's younger, before Davies is surplus to requirements you actually make your depth better.First team players you're replacing sure, but back ups/rotations can be replaced when they need to be
Steady on Major, forgive and forget and all that...
Everyone who has watched an episode of the Amazon series is now an expert on how the club is run.Levy is chairman and Lewis is the owner so they will always have the final say as they control the money but that doesn't mean they're directly involved in negotiations.

First reasonable source confirming a lowball offer rejected.
At least that is out the way. Probably a week or 2 away now.
I thought you were suggesting that Dier wanted Bayern, Bayern wanted Dier but it's being held up because Levy was haggling over the fee to get more money. So I said "levy probably wants to get a few million"
You then post a link that shows he's getting a few million.
But somehow I'm making things up.
If you're confused about the rest of my post, I suggested he wouldn't let Dier go on a free unless he knew he absolutely ran out of selling options.
This is exactly why KDB and Salah "failed" At Chelsea.
It was nothing whatsoever to do with talent. They didn't need them, they just signed them so others couldn't have them.
Before the limit on players you could loan out, Chelsea had over 40 in one season once. Not only could they outpay everyone for fees and salaries, they could also just keep the better players away from their rivals even when they didn't need them.
Even though they continue to swerve FFP, they at least can't hoard talent anymore
Andy Brassell basically said his lack of pace would be less of a concern in Germany and that they want a player who can play CB & DM which Dier has in the past. He’s obv quite intelligent and multi lingual and I’d say Kane’s put a word in.
They were considering giving boateng a contract so tbh it’s not their worst option. He’s cheap and Kane’s most likely put in a good word for his character .
He won’t play every week - much like Werner a punt when they need bodies.
He was a good player at one point, I know we often forget
I'm saying Levy isn't letting him go for free if there's any chance he can get a few million.I thought you were suggesting that Dier wanted Bayern, Bayern wanted Dier but it's being held up because Levy was haggling over the fee to get more money.
apologies if that's not what you were saying.
What do you mean accept it?and only spurs fans would accept it and seemingly revel in it too
Best not drop a Dier shaped grenade in there then.Plus there’s worse clubs to be on good terms with than Bayern.
Hopefully but let’s face it, he’s not coming in time to play vs UTD
