Bayern apparently pretty close to signing Mukiele on loan from PSG. He's a right-back that can also play CB and LB. Decent player, tall & strong, but nowhere near as attacking as Hakimi (who's Bappe's BFF) and yeah we know PSG prefer foreigners.

Hopefully doesn't mean the Dier deal won't happen as a result.

No not really. This reminds of people who were writing elevens for the Euros with Cowill starting for England at CB, alI off the back of some press talk a few performances and supposedly intrest from Liverpool, people wanted Spurs to make him their priority target. Is their anyone of them left thinks he better than Mickey VDV?

I don't think these people watch football other than YouTube comps. I watched Brathwaite against CP. He is a decent solid centerback with decent potential, he is not some world level prospect. This English premium is hillarous. For context I went to Oakwell and saw John Stones at the same age..he was way better. If United spunk another 100 million on him I'd piss my self wonder VDV market value is now?

Everyone who has watched an episode of the Amazon series is now an expert on how the club is run.
It doesn’t matter that the entire management structure has changed entirely since it aired, that they don’t know anyone who works in football management or ownership or that they’ve never negotiated for anything more expensive than a second hand car (lease).

This is exactly why KDB and Salah "failed" At Chelsea.
It was nothing whatsoever to do with talent. They didn't need them, they just signed them so others couldn't have them.
Before the limit on players you could loan out, Chelsea had over 40 in one season once. Not only could they outpay everyone for fees and salaries, they could also just keep the better players away from their rivals even when they didn't need them.

Even though they continue to swerve FFP, they at least can't hoard talent anymore

I thought you were suggesting that Dier wanted Bayern, Bayern wanted Dier but it's being held up because Levy was haggling over the fee to get more money.

They were considering giving boateng a contract so tbh it’s not their worst option. He’s cheap and Kane’s most likely put in a good word for his character .

He won’t play every week - much like Werner a punt when they need bodies.

Plus there’s worse clubs to be on good terms with than Bayern.
