b) the haggling on Genoa and the agent’s side with all the fees was partly us but partly Genoa stalling trying to get big money involved because they knew of Bayern’s interest.

All of it has fallen into place now that we are where we are. I’d love to slag off Levy for this one but I honestly think this was unavoidable, Bayern were always paying attention to this one.

We didn't sign Willian because a sanctioned gansta did a deal with a fellow Oligarch by doing him a favour by taking Eto in as part of the deal. Eto was the highest-paid player on planet Earth at the time!!! But that didn't matter because the gangster cheated and fraudulently cooked the books which the PL are now investigating and where they will be docked points/fined in a case that will likely make City's 115 beaches chicken feed.
