Transfers January Transfer Thread 2024

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It's hard to transpose a player's statistics for one club, onto another that plays in a completely different manner. We don't know whether the movement of forward players in Genoa is on a par with our own. Do their midfield drop to receive the ball in pockets, in the same way the likes of Bentancur, Maddison and Bissouma do? If I understand it correctly, a progressive pass is a forward pass, it doesn't have to be a line breaker, so it's feasible that those stats will significantly improve with us.

It will be interesting to see whether this is the case. I suspect it will, else why would we have pursued him?
You’re absolutely right. I remember there being similar concerns over VDV as well and look at him now!

It's Dutch door action. They've been stalking shady all week, getting in the personal digs. They have form for sly digs at a number of posters. Why don't they get a mention?

Whether you meant it or not, you've added fuel to the fire. Almost instantly we see the he/she in here playing the injured party, when the lemon is the biggest cunt off catalyst on the board, and goes out of its way to perpetuate that.

Your naming if them is telling because you're a neutral, and even you can pinpoint those specific names as people who'd rather see Levy fail than Spurs succeed.

TBH, I think it's beyond that though. Levy is just used as a vehicle to wind up the forum. Like I said earlier, for some the forum is more about personal vendettas than it is about Tottenham.
I am no doubt that there are people on this forum who, whether intentionally or not, have spent so much energy and time hating on Levy that now they actually hate Levy more than they love Spurs. That's not saying they are not still Spurs fans - they are - but their joy and vitriol at Levy making a fuck-up is ostensibly greater than their joy when Spurs do well. As was mentioned earlier, for some it's psychological, it has become an obsession; for other it's just about being 'right'. It's not many posters, but undoubtedly a few on here.

Well, know that I respect you, Sir.

And that I admire how well you are using the internet considering you were raised in an age where people wrote things on cave walls using their own faeces.
We used Clay mate, have you never seen the Croods?

My generation had an underdeveloped Limbic system, with a fully developed prefrontal lobe.

The evolution of this current generation seems to have regressed somewhat! 😜

Underrated movie

I think it’s important to note that with the knowledge we have, his agent and Genoa will likely prefer Radu to accept Bayern’s offer which could potentially be the reason there is a hold up.

A whole lot of “Are you sure?” coming from both sides.
I could just smell this agent’s sliminess. Happy we got the player but concerned about this snake he employs.

Also, I’m ITK now please DM for my cash app to send donations!

He is a fucking bald cunt

The changes that people were screaming for eg the bald prick moving away from football, negotiations, using data and employing skilled professionals (rather than Donna, Collecot and his fave agents) is yielding dividends

Fucking prick should have done this ten years prior

Yes it’s a positive

Yes he should have done it years ago

Yes we were right

Yes he’s still a sinister little worm
This is such oxymoronic myopic nonsense.

so levy is now hands off and leaving the transfers to someone else, but when it looked like it was going under you were still screaming levy’s name to blame. You can’t have it both ways

I'll probably get dug out as a Levy lover for daring to write his name in my post. There seems to be a threshold for that. Probably like Yellow cards, mention him 5 times and you're done.

Oops, done it again! Must be close to filling my quota now.

I could honestly see Dragusin binning him off if he does that, unless he's under instruction from the player himself.

His agent has obviously tried to push him Bayern's way, and he's shown that he doesn't necessarily trust his judgement. If he's an intelligent man, which it appears he is, he'll potentially be asking himself questions on who's interests his agent actually puts first, his Client's or his own.

Of course, this will all depend on how well he does for us. If he's doing well and the team is too, he's likely to stay and we'll likely not hear a peep from his agent. However, if he's doing all of the above and his agent is still pushing him for a big move, then I could see him sacking the bloke.

If he does well he'll get rewarded, the club has form for rewarding excellence, hence why Udogie and Sarr have had significantly improved contracts, so less likelihood of his agent agitating for better terms.

I don't mind the anti-Levy hysterics. I just wish they would keep their drivel in the Levy/Enic thread.
