I don't mind Gallagher, better than Hojbjerg and Skipp but with Bentancur, Bissouma and Sarr is it a priority? Would be 4 great options but if it ends up coming down to resources a shit hot left winger or centre forward would be preferable.

If Romero moves, say after next season, we 100% need to sign another CB. If 1 of Dorrington, Phillips and Vuskovic turned into a CL defender it would be a result - it's not as if they're a dime a dozen. Being content with "good" has been our biggest issue recently.

I really like Eze. Wanted him over Maddison in the summer (I was wrong).
Have often wondered if he could convert to playing further back but when you see how important Sarr is and his endless running and covering defensively in transitions, I don't think you'd ever want Eze tp be tasked with that. Sign him as a L8/10 but not the R8 that we are looking to replace Hojbetrg with.

if we are selling Hojbjerg I'd rather get another 6 in, Skipp has failed to push on after his injury and looks like being a bit-part player who sticks around for HG quota at best for us, and we would still have Sarr, GLC, Bentancur and Madds to rotate for the 8 slots in the team. Bissouma has missed an awful lot of games with injuries and suspensions for us, we could really do with someone who can come in at the drop of a hat and steady the ship at the back, and carry the ball out in the same way Biss does. Gallagher might be that for us, but for the money quoted and knowing we're putting that directly in one of our closest rival's back pocket, I really don't fancy him.
It would be a a huge shot to their pride. They've always thought that they were above Spurs after the Russian mobster took them over, not realising that it was fake success. If we are able to get a Cobham product, their current captain off their hands, it would send a message that the correct order has been restored, their golden period is over and that they're back to being the tinpot West London club they always were, below us and the Red Scum. It would hurt them 10x more if we got Gallagher compared to United or Liverpool.
I'd sign Eze as the replacement for Lo Celso who is often injured, needs to be fit to play for Argentina so goes missing (IMO) for a month before these ,,,, plus his contract up in 18 months time and not sure we want to renew, so we upgrade with Eze,

Absolutely. If we decide that GLC is just never available consistently then Eze would be an amazing rotation piece with Maddison.
