That set up and half of football is exactly why I would rather have an Eze in our squad than a Gallagher.
You could put Bentancur in the 6 and have Eze doing the Maddison things.

We were forced to play the players we did v Utd. due to all THREE (!!!) AMs being missing at the same time (as well as another 2 CMs that are higher up the pecking order than those that eventually played).

You playing the 'if we had Eze today' rhetoric completely ignores why we found ourselves playing Benta/PEH/Skipp as a trio in the first place. It's not the "gotcha" you want it to be.
Perhaps in a perfect world we can have infinite depth, but we obviously don't live in that world.

Citing MC (who play 4 CBs much of the time and boast best in class in every position 2 times over) or AFC (who's supposed best XI doesn't include 2x AMs anyway) is moot.
If we ship out 1 or 2 of those (i.e. PEH and possibly Skipp); we won't have it "covered" which is the whole damn point. Selling PEH and buying an AM instead of "a Gallagher" would result in a less balanced squad.

Does seem harsh to find yourself punished twice over 2/3s of the same accounting period.... In theory, if the 2nd of the 3 years (i.e. 20/21 season) is where the key losses took place, then you're effectively being punished for it twice.
None of these links coming from the usual sources for Spurs players means they are most likely the player's agent trying to drum up a market for the player.

Eze is injury prone would rather Gibbs-White.
Gibbs-White is a 10, I suppose Eze is mostly as well at least they would be in our system so competition for Maddison and Kulusevski. Would take either as both are good players but by the sounds of things we are looking for a box to box hence the constant Gallagher and Wharton links.
As someone else suggested earlier, I'm not convinced MG-W would want to join a side where he's not one of the focal points; the main man. With a fully fit squad, he's more often on the bench.
While I think he'd take to Ange immediately (who wouldn't?!), I get a whiff of prima donna about him.

Lol I don't want him, but he competes well has a great shot and is very good in the penalty box.

can be a good budget FPL player because he has a knack for arriving and scoring. Does fuck all else though. That R8 player needs to be winning duels then also playing the assist before the assist at the other end.
