yea 50m needs to be bringing in someone on the same level as madders, not a squad player. so that rules eze and olise out. to be fair that alex scott does look really promising. his goal against us is the sort of classy goal that goes unnoticed. he does look legit. i dont get the hype with eze, not seen him really take a game for palace, watched them play a 10 man Woolwich and he did fuck all! thats when your playmaker should be getting on the ball and punishing a side with 10 and he did sweet fuck all. id have gibbs-white over him.

Brennan can 100% cross. Sure, he's not been great the last 2 games but let's not pretend he can't hit an inch-perfect, first time, low cross off either foot and do it consistently. The Son offside goal vs chavski was his left, the assist to Deki after skinning Kyle Walker was off his left, he has 2 or 3 assists from crosses to richy off his right?

I can understand the debate about CG being topical because the media keep regurgitating the possibility ad infinitum. Not so sure why Olise and Eze have the same mentions though as there is not a peep coming from the media and both have opted to sign long term contracts in spite of a big offer from a predator club.

For the both of these think Zaha i.e. we like them but will never pay the asking price.......I hope everyone can move on from this.

Obviously hard to spunk £50m on a player and not give him a decent amount of game time. I'd say CG would be alongside Biss and Sarr in the pecking order. Behind Madders. And I suspect soon also behind Bent (as Bent recovers his brilliance).

I would pick Eze or Olise over CG and Alex Scott - if all at the same price.
