Soz to go back to this just had a look at Mctominays numbers as I always thought he was a bit underated when watching him briefly.
He's actually pretty good in duels both on the ground and Aerially and he has a decent range of passing and a decent ball carrier when he does do it
However is poor at showing for the ball which is why he often gets accused of going missing
I probably think he’s worse than he is because he plays for the worst utd side in 30 years
Gary O'Neil saying Wolves may need to sell this January so the links to Gomes might have legs.

I think half the PL need to sell for ffp/sustainability reasons, and quite a few clubs in Championship as they need cash and most clubs in Spain and Italy say they have no money.
So there's quite a few clubs including Wolves where our next player may come from !

Maddison - you’ll be hard pressed to find a better 10/8 than he. His goals/assist output is right up there with KDB and that’s also playing on some really poor Leicester City teams.
Bentancur - had 5 goals 2 assists in 18 league matches next to PEH in negative Conte ball. Expecting big things under Ange.
Biss - great start and been in a funk since Luton. Despite that, still has some of the best holding mid stats in the league.
Not sure who you’re aiming for ? Jude Bellingham? £100 mill man Declan Rice ?
