Why are we not going for him? We seem to go a lot young players from overseas who play a handful of games and are leagues no better than the national league 1! Jack and Scott both have played plenty of games in championship which is a much higher standard than majority of leagues in Europe. These guys would help with hg quota as well. Instead we have to end up keeping crap hg players currently in our squad like the goalkeepers. Can’t help but feel we could regret not buying Jack, Scott or Hayden!

Maybe Spurs think Alfie Devine is better ?

Certainly England youth coaches have been picking Devine for many years whereas Wharton's appearance in E squads has been patchy, And Alfie is pretty versatile starting off as a deep lying playmaker but now as likely to play as a no 10, or RW
