Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

No manager can survive losing game after game. I hope we can least finish on 66 points and beat Burnley and Sheffield, but you know Levy will (rightly) be twitching if we don’t.
I agree. I think it's 66 points or Ange out tbh. I'd far rather levy out, but we cannot carry on with this shite. Depends on who might be available of course. If he gets 66, another season and see whether it can come together.

I dunno if I want him out but those of you who pretend the signs are not worrying and that this could be turning into a disaster are deluding yourselves.

He needs to wake up. Fast.

Didn’t get to see it. Just answer me one question. I couldn’t be bothered reading through all the analysis. Did we add to our season haul of 14 goals conceded from set pieces?

Some of you are absolute cunts. Turning back on manager after 9 months, unbelievable.
Like we had it better before, seriously.
Arteta had 3 seasons of mediocrity.
Klopp had 3 seasons too.

Get over it crybabies. IT’S A PROCESS. I’m fuming too these couple of games, but calling manager to be sacked after one season where he lost our best player and goalscorer ever and still we are 5th. Still, no-one believed we’ll finish 5-6.
If you think Levy will give Ange the time and the money that Arteta got, you must be living in cuckoo land.

I would probably say from an offensive point of view, that was our worst of the season. Considering how angry Ange was in that first half, I can sympathize.

Why the fuck are the likes of Sarr and Porro constantly passing back when they are in acres of space? I will never understand it and I dont understand why they do it. It's clearly not instruction. Because they weren't doing it earlier in the season. Why the fuck does Kulusevski constantly commit stupid fouls? What's the point of Emerson Royal?

Said it numerous times, Ange would get rid of 3/4s of this squad if Levy would oblige with it. The lack of technical quality in this team is astonishing. You mix that in with pretty much every single player being off form and you've got a recipe for disaster.

Ange (and Spurs) are suffering right now from the fact the previous 3 managers didn't fancy technical players. BIG fucking transfer window coming up because we need to start getting fucking ruthless. Anyone who is genuinely not suited to playing front foot football needs to be moved on. We can't continue to carry these fucking passengers.

The season has pretty much dwindled into nothingness tbh. I just wish Ange would be brave enough from Liverpool onwards to just play players he BELIEVES have a future here. If Hojbjerg is leaving in the summer, stop giving him minutes. Give Gils' minutes to Moore. Reward that excellent U21 team that have just got themselves through to the Premier League U21 final tonight. God, they'd have performed with some pride tonight.

Unreal.

I'll leave you all to it.

The damage Levy has done to this fanbase is monstrous.
I'm hardly a Levy fan. Quite ENIC sceptical actually.

My concern is we are getting worse as the season goes on. I am struggling to see what the true believers are seeing obviously. We look uncoached, tired, and can't defend basic set plays. I don't really see the patterns of play or style. In fact we've been boring for a few months now outside one or two games. What is there that justifies giving Ange hundreds of millions to build a team? Or, put it this way - do you think we are more than the sum of our parts?

Trouble is, if you get rid of him then levy will pick another manager who is shit. He lucked out with Poch but that’s it. I don’t think any of us can face another summer managerial hunt. But you can’t stick with someone who’s not delivering.

That's cristal clear, we are getting worse, if we are 5th right now it's just because the first 10 good games, currently we are a mid table team and we aren't improving in anything, if fact we are worse in probably everything compared to the begining of the season.

How can it be his spurs when he doesn't have his players/ HIS squad, yet.
You take the job you take the team that comes with it. It makes sense that things will be better as Postecoglou gets in players he feels suit his system, but you want to finish a season stronger than you started it. So far this isn't progress, it's just change. I don't think he should be fired but I think it's fair to say his system has not yet been proven. As for the front office, they made a big mistake in not replacing Kane. Some of the money they spent paid off, but you don't replace a great player with multiple good players and think you can succeed. Systems don't win games, players win games.

Just got a feeling if we try and ride it out he'll end up being sacked by October and there will be no one available other than the dregs or Ryan Mason as caretaker. Hoddle had a second half of the season like this and Levy bottled it in the summer and he was sacked 6 games into the new season and another wasted year. Its going to be a big call and i fully expect our board to make the wrong one.

Levy will show that he is prudent and a clear thinker, backing Ange to be our manager next season. We will have a summer window that many will rate as a 9 or even a 10 out of 10.

Ange will be fired within the first 15 games.
