We've lost one game in which he's scored or assisted. Liverpool last week.

Edit: Sorry, 2 at a check. Wolves earlier in the season too.

So if we were losing those games and he's popped up with an assist/goal, they've been very important.

After a further look, his goals/assists have been worth 14 points to us this season. Tirning draws in to victories, and losses into draws. I don't think that's bad at all for his first season. For someone who still looks very raw and is learning a totally different system to one he's used to.
Think Stell from Tottenham away did a great graphic of who his scored or assisted against. Mainly bottom half teams I believe.

First season and he taken us to 5th.....that's a big achievement considering Kane went who got the team kicking and screaming vital goals.
Let's see who he brings in transfers in the summer and what his plan is...if there is one or if his tactics are game by game.....but it'll sure be exciting.
Can see Maddison coming back to form at the start of next season aswell
taken us to 5th doesnt tell the full story tho. weve got worse as the season has gone on. people saying earlier how much more the scum players work in getting back to help defend..thats what happens in a happy camp where everyone is on board. it looks like hes lost belief from the players imo.

Set pieces will improve. Our defence is decent, we get caught not due to Romero or VDV but because when we lose the ball the forwards and midfield aren’t good enough at pressing, cutting passing angles and tracking which is essential in high line football. We fix the defence mostly by fixing the front and middle.
Thought our system has lots of demands on us indicating the players run around and put a lot pressure on the player with the ball.

We don't know that yet, he's 22, playing for a new club, in a new system, with players around him pretty much doing the same. It's an enormous amount of change.

Give the kid time. If he'd come through our youth system, I have no doubts that words like 'still raw,' 'the promise is there' and other ways that people express their patience would be used.

Maturity brings consistency, which you could apply to the team as well. As the team matures, they'll look better as a unit, BJ included.
But why did we buy a player who is not use to playing in our system. Think his been at forest for years so would have been coached in their system from a young age.
He may come good and obvs we all do for the money we spent. But we shouldn’t be hoping that he can learn to play in our system.

In every metric including the final score it was a fairly solid performance. A couple of missed chances and a couple of poor final balls, or passes which just didn't quite make their destination were the difference between 2-1 and 4-1 but these are things we can work on.

Christ you'd think we'd sat back for 90 minutes and hit Burnley on the counter for a lucky Conte style win.
Ignore him. He’s negative even when we win.

Come on he is very good with his analysis certainly better than Chris cowlen and a few others who are so in with the club don’t want to rock the boat. Anyways it’s a democracy and good to have diff views from the fan base.
Btw I watch a few others as well like Sean butler , Tottenham away, Henry wright etc to get a balanced view of what the fan base is feeling. There is some common ground but each has a diff perspective.

Next season is the test but it must be doused in reality. If not, sack the bloke now because he ain't a magician.

I guess fans need to know what they think would represent progress.

Probably trying something, testing players. Just like playing Skipp at left back or switching to a back 3. Rather he be doing it this season then next season.
I actually was relieved to see him on the left as if he played on the right he has stank out the place and would mean BJ would play on the left where he is shite. Out of the two I think BJ is better of the two on the right. Kulu on the left could at least use his magic wand of a left foot. Which he failed to do miserably. He gets the ball, turns back towards our goal and still gets out paced and loses the fucking ball. Absolute garbage sell and promote a youngster. He doesn’t need replacing as he offers nothing anyway.

You hope that every player you sign can play in your system, whether they be young or in their prime. This is real life, not FIFA Pro.

You're just another one of those people who think the price tag dictates just how quickly a player integrates.

The way I'm looking at it is this. If ange is to make this work next season there needs to be monumental change. Whoever ange says needs to go needs to go and whoever ange says needs to come in needs to come in. There is a 0% chance of that happening under this chairman. So for me ange like the others is destined to fail. I hope I'm wrong on that but history suggests I probably won't be. However I would consider any type of silverware a success next season especially over a top 4 spot that means absolutely nothing to me as a fan now.

Why has he not tried that a bit more this season?
Spurs are currently 20th in the league in long passes. Seemed like they did try a few more in the second half of the Liverpool match.
