Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The counselling comment is unnecessary. Especially as Richarlison has been very open with his depression and mental health problems over the past few months, and has spoken about how seeing a psychologist saved him. While counselling and therapy are different it's a poor choice.

Also over the weekend the PL and the club took part in mental health awareness, including a video on Richlarlison talking about his depression. Counselling is not really something to be made a joke out of.

I saw on another site woolwich have taken the counselling comment out of context and said Ange is calling 99% of Spurs fans mentally ill. It has like 900+ likes...

After some good awareness over the weekend, it's the same as always for MH in football and mental health problems in general one step forward two steps back. Unfortunately nothing will ever change.
Been there had that and did not give a fuck that he said what he said! Stop being PC

TBF, it's one of the better things he's said as far as I can remember.

Maybe he'll walk away at the end of the season to look for a club that has fans with a big club mentality.
I think for better and worse he's ours for 2 or 3 more seasons. People overestimate the market for him. I think he's reasonably well regarded but this season, especially the way it is ending, is hardly making the case that he's ready for a bigger club. Jury is still out of his system.

We should have a TFC night out. It would be fucking carnage and I’d love it.
Could you actually imagine that ?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's what I hate about the general media virtue signalling stance. On one hand they want all men to open up about all mental health, and equality. On the other hand the services are shit on a local level and literally nothing is sacred in the dressing room or on the terraces. Equality for people with mental issues in football doesn't exist because people with real mental issues can't even get to football training or pay to get there, never mind get to the Premier League and hire a psychiatrist.

Counselling and other forms of therapy and depression services barely work for 40% of people anyway, but especially low income people. Charities do their best sometimes but the services are very hit and miss, especially in rural areas of the UK, and more often than not make people worse or can't actually follow through on what they advertise.

My issues with Ange are we never change how we play and look to score the same fucking goal every week. Saturday was enjoyable because we seen two different types of goals rather than get it in between CB and FB to cross for first time finish.
I also have issues with playing guys like Skipp and Royal at left back but that might be him sending a message to the board.
I have issues with taking a midfielder off who’s been better than the one that stays on.
I have issues with zonal marking.
I have issues with everyone of our front players.

The only thing that will change those is personnel. We need better players and if Ange gets them I think we’ll bw successful.
If not he becomes just another one of our managers that gets moved on.
Its not been brilliant but I’m willing to give the guy a chance because he’s got us at least 5th with a load of new players, new style and without the best goalscorer we’ve ever had.

What I do see is a together squad,a better atmosphere about the club and better atmosphere at the games. Ange has done that.

Try be positive just once. It won’t hurt
Nice post.

I agree with your first point of never changing how we play but I have to differ with the conclusion you arrive at.

If he'd shown any willingness or ability to change things at several points when the situation demanded it then I'd have more confidence in him being able to turn it around but several opportunities have come and gone and he's stuck to the same way of playing and it has cost the team when it was obvious that change was needed.

I could be wrong and maybe his stubbornness is all part of a master plan and it pays off in which case I'd be happily wrong and become his No 1 defender, even better than you ; ), but I do not see it for the reasons outlined above, if you ain't got the oil money to buy the best of the best then being able to adapt to get the most out of what you get given is the name of the game and he's not shown anywhere near enough.

"What I do see is a together squad,a better atmosphere about the club and better atmosphere at the games. Ange has done that."

Unless you're in that environment you can't have any confidence in the first 2 assertions, we can only see curated videos from training and what the team delivers on the pitch and it doesn't look like everyone is together as acknowledged by the manager himself.

I could have accepted his point of view had he not simultaneously downplayed the importance of the match against the Arse. That's where he went wrong because it translated on to the pitch being 3 nil down at half-time, at home, with zero shots on target against an Woolwich that sat back. He lead us directly into this situation. He's conspiring to make us pull off the most Spursy thing we could ever do that would never be forgotten.

No thanks, I won't eat shit and like it.

He is a temporary manager and we are permanent fans. We have to live with the outcome of this well after he eventually fucks off. He should learn to read the room and not answer every question as an inspirational quote.
Hear hear.

On the last bit I get that feeling at the games when we score or at the end of the games. It just feels that way and maybe that’s my personal outlook on it.

What I’ve seen from him at his other clubs is that it isn’t fluid in his first season and seems to click in season two and that’s another reason that I’m Ange all in just now.

I’m not stupid to just stick up for him for the sake of it. As I said I think he has the personnel there to change the shape or tweak things but doesn’t and generally it’s subs that are like for like.
Will this be his downfall or his stubbornness to stick to what he believes makes us successful only time will tell.

I’m willing to see how it goes.

That is not what I said at all.

But for clarity, I doubt the manager and players will attempt to put in anything other than a professional performance.

BUT my point was, even if he did want us to lose, he would absolutely not be able to say that in public.

Hope that fucking clears that up for you. 😅

Don’t bother replying btw. My patience with dealing with stupid posters has reached its limit for the day.

It’s going to be difficult for me tomorrow as it ruins my day/weekend/week/ month etc when we lose but needs must!

If only those wankers at OT hadn’t fucked up yesterday
