Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Poor wording from him. He should have shown that desire after Arse and Chavs. Chavs being a disgraceful performance. Today was a decent performance that on the balance of play should have gotten at least a draw.
Don’t care. For a man who’s supposedly doing good PRs moves that is fucking over the top. He’s fuming because of what? The fans wanted to lose against City so Woolwich wouldn’t win the league? How about he set up the team better against Newcastle, Woolwich, Chelsea or Liverpool and got a couple of results so we wouldn’t end in this situation in the first place? He wasn’t as vocal and fuming as he is now after those 4 losses in a row.

Meh it's true what he says, we do have a spursy foundation and mentally weak fans.

There's no modern football 'eritage here that demands we always win

But sorry today ange is rarer than an eclipse, and it had to be done . Unless you grow up as a spurs fan surrounded by gooners you can never no the pain a victory would have caused

Don’t go against fans. You’ll never win. We have been here for 15-25-40 years Ange. I think we know better than you our club and our rivarly with scum is bigger than anything.

People read too much into things. Just like they did about the whole "counselling" comment towards a journalist.

He wants to instil a mentality into this team and the board. He wants the club to be more than "the team that inadvertently stopped their rivals from winning the league".

Also sounds like reaffirmation of wanting a clear out tbh. Which is good. There's a real good bunch of players here. The rest, not so much.

And he's certainly not wrong that the club inside and out is fragile. We've won fuck all in 15 years.

His job at Spurs depends on winning games. As a professional manager, he was never going to be happy with losing. You have to be able to differentiate between what a manager wants and what the fanbase wants.

I don't know what is going on with this guy, but I now just don't trust him.

You come here you fucking appreciate what's up with our rivalry.

You better fucking have that as our performance baseline for every game hereon in.

And you better fucking win us something to make up for it.

Or you can fuck off.

How dare you.
You can neg this to your hearts content.

Any manager coming here needs to connect with the heart of this club.

You need to, especially, get the fans and show you are with them.

Even if it rubs you wrong.

He didn't need to go so hard in the presser, nor the game.

I didn't appreciate it one bit, and he better have a spectacular window to bring players in to take us up a notch with his system.

And dare not have any game going forward of less quality and tactical solidity as this.

Interested to see the full interview but he's played this whole thing terribly.

Instead of his big rant in the pre-match presser he should have just said "The fans can feel how they want but we are professionals and will try to win the game" no more, no less. Instead he got on his high horse and completely misread the room.

Now if he's coming out and doubling down it's a real misstep and stinks of arrogance.

YOU PUT US IN THIS POSITION!

4 defeats from 5 prior to this and he never once switched up the system to make us less predictable and more solid. Setting up like we did tonight against the other 4 teams and we probably would have picked up more than 0 points.

Bentancur and Romero injuring their two best players - couldn't you have done it to Saka and Raya ffs!

Heard that shit from Poch as well. End of the day a winning culture has fuck all to do with the fans or even the players currently at the club. It’s a combination of finances, ambition and intelligence that starts from the board and works its way down.

City fan the ones who don’t turn up at CL games, Arse fans the ones who all leave on 70 mins in a title race while playing Villa. There is fuck all winning culture in their fanbases. The fanbase is to provide a bit of extra money and spectacle nothing else.
