Manager Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I loved his press conference yesterday; it made me love him more and I totally understand how he felt in terms of integrity. He obviously calmed down quite a bit for the presser yesterday. I think there has been some misunderstanding in the feeling of Tottenham fans though, and it was annoying how Charlie or someone did not bring it up in the press conference. At least for me, wanting Tottenham to lose does not mean I want the manager or the team to not fully apply themselves for the win. In fact, if they did, I would want Ange sacked immediately.

Anyway big love to the big man. We have a bright future together. 💜💜💜

It's kind of sad, but funny at the same time, watching him flounder. Hasn't offered a single rebuttal to the facts. He's gone and looked at them is why.

The pattern is always the same with these people; ask a question, give it Billy big bollocks when it isn't answered at first, deflect or shift when everything blows up in their face, then rant on about 'cults' or 'bots.'

They get a little shit in the arm when another of that type pipes up, then run back to the 'cult/bot' attack when the other goose's argument gets blown out of the water.

Predictable and not very bright.
I envy being as simple minded as you, "we won the game duh therefore we dominated it".

There's no bigger Billy big bollocks than the deluded claiming we've dominated every game we've won this season, even then you backtracked.

Like I said, if you think it's a fact that we've dominated every game we've won this season then power to you, we can all make up our own facts and then ask why there's no rebuttals like children.

If we are 9 points better off if we made no mistakes wouldn’t every other team?

Maybe City make less mistakes than the norm and that’s what you get when you pay top wages for the most consistent and disciplined players
It's not so much about the mistakes, more the absolutely howling mistakes mate. How many howlers have our peers made over the course of the season? I'd be willing to bet it's not as many.

But it reinforces my point about discipline and mindset. You use City as the comparison, well there you go. Is there a more disciplined team out there with a better mindset? That's the culture that AP is working to instill.

Pep had a headstart, as City already had a team of PL winners when he took over, and he still needed a full season to imbed his philosophy. They made plenty of mistakes in his first season whilst they were learning and, as it turned out, weeded.

Your question is not genuine.

Games in the premier league can usually go both ways. There are very few comprehensive victories. Our win away to villa was a good example of a game that felt like it would only have one winner. Our game away to Chelsea was similar but the other way.

There are wins and losses where we edge it but it could go both ways - we didn’t deserve to lose to two late wolves goals but Sheffield United could easily have won. We didn’t deserve the Liverpool game either. But we deserved to get more from the game away to Everton and at home to villa and Chelsea.

Then there are tight games that were a draw but of course either side could have taken one chance and it’s 3 points instead of 1 - like Woolwich at home.

Football is a low scoring game with a lot of chaos - that’s why we love it.
Asking how many games we've controlled and won convincingly isn't genuine?

Btw, we had no shots in the first half against a Villa side that played in Europe on the Thursday but according to you there was only ever one winner.

Sheffield United could easily have won
How is it possible that one of the worst teams to have ever come up could have easily won at ours but at the same time I'm being told we've dominated every game we've won this season?

Made up facts? They're all over the Premier League website!

Cracking Up Lol GIF by HULU

When you are best in EVERY METRIC then what would you call that, capitulation?

You're now embarrassing yourself, following the same tired pattern with the 'simple minded' dig and being totally oblivious to the enormous irony there.

I hear the core is extremely hot, how you faring down there?

I see this is a habit of yours isn't it to make stuff up and claim them as facts, nasty little habit that.

Same page for sure.

There are some that don’t have the ability. Others that don’t have the discipline, and a final group that have neither.

Move them all on and replace them well and maaaybe we have a chance.

Players that fit this system technically and physically but also have the elite discipline?
How many are there and how many are there after City get first pick?

Wages on offer have to go to imo. Pretty simple.

We clearly haven’t dominated every game we’ve won this season.

We have played in a proactive manner in most games though. That’s something to be celebrated, especially after 4 years of zzzz

A lot will depend on who he goes after in the summer. If Gallagher is our marquee signing, then I think we could be in a spot of bother.

I don't disagree, I also think the likes of Sherwood got us playing proactive football, doesn't mean it was a recipe for long term success imo but we'll see.

It’s just a glass half full, glass half empty situation. Nobody can know what will happen. It could be incredible or terrible.

Enjoy the ride or what’s the point?
I agree with the sentiment but I'm struggling to accept having to enjoy the ride so to speak and figure out what will happen when for the best part of a decade we were on an upwards trajectory clear of that lot and in 2 short years its been completely wiped away and what I've seen this season doesn't fill me with the confidence that we're on the right track, nothing for me really to point to and be convinced by.
