Only time will tell. Hopefully............I'm loving Big Agnes.
For me jose was a cnut, Conte was a one season wonder and then toys out of pram and that guy from Wolves should be somewhere like, err, Forest not us.
The style of football, when it works is exciting and what THFC is all about. If we can get the right players in for the system then I have high hopes.
My only criticism, and it has been said above, is that Ange is stubborn. That's fine but in this league, you will get sussed and we have been.
Funnily enough, in rhe last 2 games, he has adapted a bit, VDV to LB for example. So, maybe he has learned something.
Onwards

Every word Postecoglou said on Kulusevski, message to the squad and Australia
Here is every word Ange Postecoglou had to say in his post-match press conference following Tottenham's 3-0 win over Sheffield United at Bramall Lanewww.football.london
Thought this was an odd thing to say, talking about Kulusevski as F9
We thought playing him through middle today would help us with his mobility and ability to run in behind. He did well.
I’m not knocking Kulusevski's performance in this game here, it was ok, but they are not attributes you would associate for him, and we didn’t really play to them in this game. I would have said his physicality and ability to drop in and hold onto the ball a bit better than Son were more appropriate.
I mean he's not going out pace a wardrobe in behind, let alone a CB.
Ange is stubborn, but Dier would have been dropped win, lose or draw based on that team performance, I'm fairly confident of that. What I distinctly remember, was the commentators and fans on here all praising Dier and Davies all match long, when the truth is, Wolves just missed a lot of chances. There wasn't a masterclass of defending, it was lucky as fuck we hung on until injury time.
I called it in the 80th minute that we'd lose. Not draw, but lose.
We've learned that Ange is quite stubborn, so if we'd won that, he would have gone with Dier and Davies again and possibly for a while. As it was, he dropped Dier straight away and barely used him again.
He's obsessed with winning trophies, not winning single, isolated games.Agree, but a more pragmatic manager would’ve still found a way to see that game out. For someone who is obsessed with winning his ego and system seems to come first sometimes.
Spot on. His movement was top drawer. It's often more about angles and timing than a flat out foot race.
Have been a lurker for a bit but was my first day posting. Have laughed at some of your interactions with other posters and thought I’d give it a go. Looking back it was a poor & below-par effortHello kind sir,
Yes, I do. You are more than welcome to spend your time browsing my posting history of 43,695 posts and you will find that out for yourself.
I'll give you one opinion tonight though. My opinion is that I sincerely hope you improve your posts because your first 16 posts on this forum (assuming you're not a multi....) have been somewhat disappointing.
I promise you that if you post something I agree with, I'll give you an agree. Hope that promise soothes your soul!
Also I do not promote female wrestling. I promote mixed wrestling. Pay more attention, lad.
submission room for all your mixed wrestling delights.
Have a good evening boyo.
I strongly suggest you never try calling me out again. It'll save you further humiliation.
I understand about his system and principles being the bigger picture and that’s fine. In order to win trophies, winning isolated games is important and sometimes it may benefit us to take a slightly different approach at the end of a game to see out a win. Would you have that view if the Wolves game was the FA cup 4th round for example? He's obsessed with winning trophies, not winning single, isolated games.
His first seasons are always about embedding certain key principles and foundations in the squad. And it's always - always - about the bigger picture. I've watched and listened to him enough to know that's how he builds his teams.
We can all disagree and argue over whether that'll be successful or not, because of course it's open for debate, but wondering why he doesn't shut up shop to see out a one-nil mid-season win is a pointless exercise, because he just ain't, mate.

I’ll endeavour to improve the quality of my posts in future and look forward to calling you out again.

I didn’t want to go all in too early, there’s still time.
Not that miserable. I'll be more than happy to see him gone but it's not going to happen until at least some point in season three. The fans that want him out and have already vehemently nailed their colours to the mast sure do have a miserable Summer lined up.
History has proven the first year under Ange is a roller coaster. He does a clean out, starts building the squad and changes the way the teams play. It’s a massive mind fuck for the players, club and supporters alike. Season 2 is generally when it clicks. Have faith everyone. Next season will be nuts!
I think you are right, but the idea that you would not close out games the way almost all coaches do seems unwise. He's obsessed with winning trophies, not winning single, isolated games.

If you're right it means Spurs are winning so I'm happy. I'm not convinced about Postecoglou at this point. It bothers me that the second time through the league things dropped off and if you break out Spurs record against the three levels of the league (as someone else did in a post here) there's no proof the system can work against the better teams. The answer to that is always, "When Postecoglou gets his players" and things obviously should improve if he gets upgrades. But Spurs don't spend enough to have the depth he would need to make his system work. I think at that point Big Ange will turn again into Angry Ange. It won't end well.lol mate, you might as well put your support for this team on hold until 2027 then, perhaps take up some gardening or something.
