Anyone know much about De Winter?
Is De Winter coming?

Yeah will probably just try and flip him for profit maybe.Probably agreement. I remember Atalanta also signed Romero off Juventus the exact same summer we signed him.
The good thing with the Werner loan is he won't clutter the squad if we don't want him at the end of the season.Plenty of doubts about Spence at the time. The fact all that lot have been moved on or we'd like to move them on says it all. Just patching up the squad like we have with Werner. All they do is clutter up the squad and block pathways for our own youngsters. Buy first team level players or dont bother.
It had cheap, opportunistic Levy punt written all over itHe wasn't a bargain bin basement signing though.
He was a promising young right back, who had a great Championship season that 95% of Spurs fans were excited about. So much so that the manager got slaughtered every single week for not playing him.
I don't claim to have expert views. I just go by the evidence of the past 47 ENIC transfer windows that yielded 1 league cup .HiHonest John hope you're doing well fella.
As this is the transfer window, and you have strong opinions on our transfer business, can you elaborate on who you think the club should sign this summer to improve the first team? Genuinely interested in your expert views.
Cheers mate![]()

I'll rate each signing as we make it, and give my overall verdict at the end, if that's OK?
Which usually turns out to be spot on
One signing so far. Werner....
Uncle John's verdict : Cheap opportunistic punt that wouldn't have been entertained by any other Big 6 Club or any club that's serious about winning.
Your welcome. Any time.Thanks John.
So no suggestions of your own to make then on who the club could/should sign that would satisfy you that the club is 'serious about winning'?
No worries matey, just thought I'd ask.

Out of interest though.....Do you think ENIC are serious about winning? Rather than purely financialThanks John.

I don't think Gallagher is at all the upgrade some think on Sarr. I have said this before but I've become completely convinced of it, having looked at a deep dive on our centerbacks. Systems make players, what "Angeball" is asking of his hybrid 6/8's his centerbacks and inverted fullbacks I honestly believe is making them on occasion look poorer than they are. When it works and all first eleven players are fit great it can be devastating, but I genuinely fear Gallagher asked to do what Sarr has been forced to, fairs even worse .Yes, he is an upgrade.
But also 3 years older and more experienced.
I do believe that in few years time they could be roughly equal, if Sarr not better.
And then there is question - is that upgrade worth 50 mil fee + high salaries ?!
I have little doubt Gallagher would want 120 kpw minimal. Sarr is on 70 kpw. So roughly speaking, across 3 years we have paid 60 mil more for temporary upgrade.
I'd really look elsewhere, unless there is some bigger plan here (converting Gallagher to starting #6 for example).

If so, why do you think they consistently fail so miserably?
Not being funny, but I'm always open to hearing alternative views. Maybe I've been missing something so please, go for it.....

We should offer 80 million to Newcastle for Isak just to upset that Fish character.I suspect Gallagher is end of June or nothing.
This is Levy’s Erection Section. Limited timeframe. Pressure on the seller.
We’ll be offering around 40 (made up of addons).
what are the odds that these will be the next set of player links for us...
Gallagher, Bailey, Isak, Myolenko , Murillo , Drewsbury-Hall
