Richy is fragile mentally. He won’t go well as a backup striker
I feel for Richy, I do. Sounds like a top kid with a great, lively personality. Very good player on his day too. Mental health issues are no laughing matter, I do hope that whatever he's struggling with, he'll beat it someday soon.

That said, if you can't do what you're being paid uber handsomely to, my view is you should do the honorable thing and walk away from your contract. If I remember correctly, the great Fernando Redondo told AC Milan not to pay him his wages when he signed for them in the 90s and spent many months out injured.

Neto is a really good player and was keen on him signing but that last hamstring injury is just too many. We've finally got rid of Sess, probably Lo Celso lets not replace them with similar. Last 3 seasons he's played 13, 19 and 24 games.

Exactly how I feel. Before his last injury I prayed he could see out the season injury free then sign him. Even if he had for the remainder of the season he would have been a huge risk.
As a player I think he’s absolutely perfect for our team and has potential to be world class, but I just don’t want to waste our budget on him in our medical room.

I get it! But we have to consider that Richy played thru pain and mental health issues a big chunk of the season.

When he got help and had his surgerys he scored what, 8 goals in 9 games(or was it the reverse?)

With the way we play, i think we need a tap-in-merchant on top, who can hold the ball up.

Our most pressing needs for me is a deep laying midfielder of the highest calibre(Rabiot?), and then 1 or 2 wingers.

After that i think we should look at strengthening the fullback positions, striker, and maybe another goalkeeper
Rabiot ain't a deep lying MF, defo not a No 6. But as a central 8 who can drift to the left offensively and defensively, he's one of the best in the business.

Would be a crazy signing for Spurs.

Bayern or PSG are my bet.

Unless we've worked behind the scenes for months and it's not leaked how close it is.
They would usually be favourites for sure

the thing is, there might be an opportunity because Bayern need to shift some guys before they can bring another player up there and just spunked 50m on Olise. They also have Simons in the pipeline. PSG are on Kvara and have no spots left. It would be greed and hoarding for either to sign him.

We have a need and have clearly been talking to him for a while.

What we won't do is spend 40m on Doue and then get Eze or Neto as well imo.

I think that a run in a another league could do wonders for Dele. Turkey was probably too much of a culture shock but something like the MLS could be what the doctor ordered.

Just keep him out of the big party cities like LA, New York or Miami.
Friends of mine who are Marseille supporters been asking me about Dele. They reckon he could join the De Zerbi revolution at OM...club is skint and looking for experienced players.

They've done rather well in the past with Brits and Irishmen...Waddle still revered over there. Big Tony Cascarino too. Joey Barton less so.

I just wish the kid well. He's made his mistakes, sure, but he don't seem a bastard. And what a player he was for us for a couple years. Unreal.

You obviously don't watch Ligue 1.
