Friends of mine who are Marseille supporters been asking me about Dele. They reckon he could join the De Zerbi revolution at OM...club is skint and looking for experienced players.

They've done rather well in the past with Brits and Irishmen...Waddle still revered over there. Big Tony Cascarino too. Joey Barton less so.

I just wish the kid well. He's made his mistakes, sure, but he don't seem a bastard. And what a player he was for us for a couple years. Unreal.

Wouldn't hate that for Dele at all.

Have a feeling he wants a Prem offer but Marseille on a 1 year deal is far from the worst place to get started.

If he went there and did well, he'd be adored and treated like a god. They're the most passionate bunch in French football, their fanbase is total mental...the noise in that stadium simply is incredible, even when they face an amateur team in la coupe de France. I'd love that for our son, to get him back to feeling good about himself & his football.

But yeah, do badly and they'll make it known they hate your friggin guts. The torrent of abuse you'll get is pretty much unrivaled. They've also got lots of issues with players getting robbed, their houses ransacked etc.

So we're definitely looking to sign a young wide player, since Lange came in we been heavily linked with Nusa and now Doue.

While that's great, think we still need to add that proven quality or do they feel the club has enough experience in the likes of Maddison, Son, Bissouma, Bentancur Werner and Romero among few others

We struggled at times last season and need first 11 improvements

Dele won't be out giving it the biggun in his new role at this stage of his career tho

He wants to make the WC 26 squad. Marseille really isn't a bad way to start that journey. As you say proper historical club.

If Yamine Lawal can get minutes at 16 for Barca, then Mikey Moore can get minutes at 16 for Spurs. Moore doesn't look miles off physically and they are both rated as generational talents in Spain and the UK.

Ange has given him his debut already and I wouldn't put it past him to start him in the EL if we have already secured a spot in the next round. Then it's up to the player to show he's good enough.
Which makes paying £165K / wk for Werner even more unexplainable!

Oh for gods sake enough with the Tory porn!!!

Only 26

would you take him as a striker?

in 19/20 and 22/23 he hit 17 league goals.

hit and miss other seasons.

No thanks.

Terribly overrated. Has shown plenty of times he's not arsed. People talk about Toneys attitude but his atleast seems to be more ego. Rashford just comes across as a bit lazy tbh or certainly someone who's fallen out of love for the game.

8 and a half seasons playing for the biggest club in the world and still hasn't even hit 90 domestic league goals.

Add to that his astronomical wages and it's even more of a no. If he leaves United, he'll be effectively retired from football within 5 years. I guarantee it.

For the right money, he's a good signing. But his wages are too high though, someone on here pointed that out to me.

He had a shit season but as FOK FOK points out, he got 17 league goals the year before and he has reached that mark twice in his career. At his best, he's an excellent player.

Season before last, Son was absolutely shit and looked finished. Ange came and got him going again. Rashford might just need a change from Ten Hag.

Son was playing through an injury...

Rashford was playing through hangovers.

Rachford needs a change of scenery
Rashford is pony, he's had one good season ever, does nothing especially well, only hyped because he's come through United's academy and the media still collectively bums them from their spell under Sir Alex.
Sancho on the other hand, I refuse to believe "he can't hack the prem" or he's now magically a shit player just because Ten Hag is too autistic to work out how to manage him that he's not capable of showing his class for another side. He hardly had the best start at United either, trying to find minutes with Ronaldo coming back in the same window (many pundits questioned exactly what the point of signing Sancho was if they were gonna bring Ronnie back all along), new manager in his first season, at the biggest circus of a club in the established elite as it stands, I think he could be absolutely lethal for us off the left and would be available for a steal relative to the potential upside, I think £30m is the absolute most you'd need to part with to convince United to cut their losses. Only problem is if Dortmund can stump up a similar figure you would fancy him to prefer that move.
