Long term yes but clearly if Ange and the club wanted him it was for a reason. Gallagher is box to box pressing machine, Gray is a DM who can play right back. If not Gallagher then I expect the club to still be looking for another press machine unless they think Bergvall can step into that role. Ideally we play a high press so that role is very important. Think Henderson who was key for Liverpool.
Ange has shown willingness to use all 5 subs. After chasing Porro, Maddison, Bentancur, Son and Kulusevski for 60 minutes, how would you feel about chasing Gray, Bergvall, Sarr, Werner and Johnson for the last 30 + ET?
I’m sure we are watching him along with every other club in the world, but there is no chance we sign him. For £42m all the top clubs will be after him and he wouldn’t even consider us.

I certainly hope so, I think Ange has shown he's happy to start players no matter the age or experience if he thinks they're ready. I can see these two being absolutely raring to go and they both seem like intelligent footballers so should grasp Ange's style quickly. Plus there's the advantage of them being a bit of an unknown entity for the opposition to learn about. I'm excited about the energy these guys will bring and hope we see it early doors.

Would be amazing but cant see it myself, apart from anything else he's Basque playing in Bilbao. I don't think there's a club that retains players as well as AB does. If he does move it's going to be to a really high profile club. For me, I think Doue is much more likely and achievable.
Never wanted him. Guy is damaged goods, just another big injury waiting to happen. And can't even say he's that much of a baller. Also, 3 clubs since leaving Roma what 2 years ago? Loyalty ain't high on his list of priorities.
But his mam is fit as fuck.
