Eze isn’t a gamble. We could get 6 good years minimum out of him. £10 million a year is great business.
They are all full of shite. We could pick 30 players each and put something out that we are interested in them over the course of the summer and we’d get one right eventually. They know as much as we do. Fuck all.

We've got next to no chance of signing them once they've reached their full potential as the likes of City / Madrid etc would be in for them.
Get them in now, develop them, and try and get our team to develop enough with them so that they don't want to leave.

He must be our next signing. He ticks so many boxes for us. When we are playing teams who have no other other interest in sitting on the edge of their box having guys like him,Bergvall and madders on the pitch at the same time is a must. Not the likes of Skipp,Bisdouma and Hojbjerg who are not a goal threat or can play a riskier pass.
How many times last season did we just plod about going from side to side not taking any chances with passes? These guys give us a different option. Add in a top front player and our points total goes up by at least 10 points.
I found WLB to be all right usually, better than most of them.

Someone who can receive under pressure and link up but also create something when defenders are sitting off.
I’m full on board with that being Eze or Williams but I’m really doubting it’s going to be either. Palace don’t need the money after selling Olise and maybe that release clause has clauses we don’t know like CL football …Williams is pie in the sky.
If they think Doue is the next best bet then I can get behind that as he seems like one of the most wanted and rated young players in Europe. Still think we need another more experienced attacker after that too but seems unlikely.

Levy getting that stiffy for the hopeful increased value of the younger player in a few years time rather than getting that prem ready and proven player who will propel the team in the here and now and not hopefully in 2 years time by which time the manager who bought him has usually been sacked
