Never understood this mindset. All managers make mistakes.
Klopp wanted Darwin Nunez and Julian Brandt over Salah. Arteta, Havertz and Fabio Vieira. Poch Ndombele and Sissoko. Even Pep wanted Kalvin Phillips and Mattheus Nunes. All of whom are significantly more accomplished managers in this league than Ange.
Fans should engage their brain a bit more rather than just blindly assume everything their god manager touches turns to gold.

Some of those i'd keep rather than push but some the other players on the return to training video really hit home. Gil, and Spence for example.
30 million on Neto is gamble, we would be stupid paying more than that.
Minutes almost the same and the point holds when you adjust for different in minutes.
Maddison had a great three month period but since that Chelsea game he was poor.
Now compare the hate Johnson gets compared to Maddison. It’s disproportionate.
He hasn’t shown that since the Chelsea game. Maddison is also entering the peak years of his career at 27. Johnson has more room for growth.

About the only advantage we might have is that Rennes did well out of Spurs loaning them both Joe Rodon and Djed Spence season before last.
Wolves should be happy to get £40 million for him let alone 60 fantastic when fit but not sure how we are going about this deal at all. £60 million would be madness for him with how many games he's played in the last 2 years

Yeah but we will be top after 10 games and you can’t put a price on that.
We need those top three to double those goal returns if we want to be a serious club next season. Back when we were fighting it out at the top we had three players who’d get over 10/15 PL goals a season.
I think it was more like 4 players with minimum 20 g/a each - with of course Kane getting 20+ goals whilst Son close to 20 goals whilst Eriksen and Dele probably 10-15 goals each as part of their 20+g/a, for about 4 or 5 seasons in succession.
Last season Son spent a fair amount of time as CF plus playing a fair amount as LW, Richarlison scored most of his as CF, Johnson mainly as RW with Kulusevski also scoring most as RW but also a bit as a CM.
Whilst Werner chipped in a handful of g/a as LW, I think another goalsoring and assist maker coming in probably as a LW would give us our biggest boost with Richarlison either staying fit and scoring more or being upgraded would give a 2nd boost, and I'm hopeful a youth forward (not taking up a squad place) whether Parrott, Moore, Scarlett or another will chip in a few too as a 3rd boost.
