What kind of confirmation would help you?

Some players you want but they go elsewhere, if we are scouting well enough then they have another plan.

The big thing is time. Ange was public about wanting attackers through the door early. There was noise the club wanted 2 or 3 done by the end of next week.

Looks like none of that is happening. It’s felt like a “Welcome to Levy’s hotspur” window for Ange for a while now. Starting to look more and more like the budget isn’t there this summer

We’ve had comfortably the best incomings this window.

Fans are embarrassments.

He wants to.

My hunch is that Doue will sign for Bayern and PSG will keep Xavi Simons instead.

Spurs end up with no one. Happy days.

Olise and Doué are the future of the french national team. I’d be happy for them to play together.

I say that only because fans need to empathise with players. I’m sure he’d also be happy to win trophies and play champions league football.

You sound like a very inexperienced Spurs fan tbh.

You will also note that I've been saying the exact same thing since we signed Werner on loan. I have been saying that from experience. I've seen this movie before with Levynomics.

Don't get me wrong, I seem to be one of the rare few left that would be happy with Neto.

But nowhere near the fees banded about.
Tbh I don't see what fee it would make sense at given his injury record. Even £40m (which Wolves would never accept) would be 40 we can't spend on a winger who could actually play.

The best ability is availability, Neto is made of glass, and Ange-ball breaks hamstrings. It's a recipe for disaster.

For a club who seem to have been making common sense moves in the market in recent years this one feels really out of character.

Feels incredibly unlikely but after that Gray gazump I've not fully given up hope of Lange moving in the shadows.

The thing is, that ITK could be 1000% true, we definitely could be internally confident and moving in on him, but if Bayern or PSG come in with their money, it won't matter.

As soon as I saw the dreaded PSG enter the conversation I moved on from Doue. Very low chance we get him.

With the information we have it’s not a common sense move. We won’t win anything with our budget using common sense alone though.

We just have to hope it wouldn’t just be a desperate punt to go after Neto but they actually had a plan and knew something about his hamstring rehab that we don’t.

Can’t believe they’d be spending 40-45m on a punt that those hamstrings would just “be ok”.
