Hopefully not. I can see some advantages in Gallagher. He does fight for and win the ball very well and his high energy helps get it forward quickly. It s not always about how he plays for Chelsea and England but about what he will do in Ange’s system. He is also homegrown and we are short in this area so that will be beneficial as well.
Spurs are talking 30-35m. For that price I think Gallagher is value and with lots of games this year would be a good buy.

He's not a must get though. There are other positions need filling with higher priority.

STILL people complain that we're not bringing in new, competitive talent whose desire to strive for greatness aligns so well with our values...

I’d rather put that money towards a striker but I agree, while I think he’d be fine for us, I don’t think he is a must. Like with Johnson last summer, if he doesn’t sign a new contract there, I think it will be a deadline day one as well try and screw the chavs on the price as much as possible.

It's not about buying the most expensive players, it's about buying the right players that fit together as a team.
But the ENIC policy is, and always has been, if the right player costs a bit more than the cheaper alternative, or the cheaper alternative holds more promise of resale value than the right player, we'll always buy the cheaper alternative.
It's why every manager ultimately fails, our best players eventually want out, and the never ending cycle of rebuild without trophies continues.

Nah don’t be absurd. It’s not that.

I heard he’s one of the cali cartels main drug lords.

I have it on good authority but can’t confirm my source, Gallagher is actually born in Saudi to the Royal family, has oil money, beheads people and also donates to the Trump campaign.

And he once said women belong in the kitchen not the football pitch. Best mates with Joey Barton apparently.

I’m not sure we should risk it.
