It went all quiet on Soulé and Spurs. He's one of the few left-footed WF available. But it makes one wonder why Juve are pushing to sell him... 🤔

Could be nothing more than him not suiting Mottas 272 set up.

Some players don't always suit a new coaches philosophy or style. Why isn't he suited at Juve isn't the question we should be asking, it's does he have the right profile fit for our system

Think he's off to Leicester anyway.

If we're looking at the busy high pressing midfielders who harass players and don't stop running then both Jacob Ramsey and Connor Gallagher will do that, I'd prefer Ramsey but interesting thing is that Gallager comes up favorably in the comparison in other areas:

Ederson the most busiest.

Gallagher is great in a pressing team, his off the ball movement is great like Rice but he is terrible in teams that sit deep. Basically a better version of Jordan Henderson with the same strengths and weaknesses. I can see why Ange would want him given how we play but also can see why some fans would be meh about it.

He ain’t a baller, he’s a pitbull.

Trix the scammer on SC just posted this about Kulusevski:

"As far as the club are concerned he is available for transfer. Along with numerous others he is not seen as part of the long term strategy."

Its almost certainly bollox but if it was true, what was the fucking point in signing him permanently last summer?

Gray, Bergvall and Gallagher replacing Skipp, Lo Celso and Hojbjerg leaves us in a better position imo. I'd be fine with that but unless we bring in at least 2 quality attacking players then its irrelevant.
We could sign the best 8 players in world football from keeper to midfield but if we go into the season with the Sonny, richy,Johnson, deki and Werner then we stand still. 4th/5th or 6th is the best we can do.
We might sing a couple of players and it could completely change the whole outlook for us. A midfielder that can cover left back like Gray has done at right back,a top level wonger and a top level striker are musts.

Sourcing info from SC and getting worked up over it is a new low

Have a day off for a change.

Well, considering we were the team in the prem that won the most amount of tackles in the opposition third last season it is 100% our remit to have someone of Gallagher's ability in the team - and this is exactly why Ange would want him and getting him or someone who does similar would be what backing the manager looks like.

We were the team putting the most amount of pressure on defenders last season, scored the third most goals from high turnovers and had the 4th most shots from high turnovers.

Its essential to our game.

cant see us selling Kulu this summer, he's one of the few real versatile players we have who can play across the front 3 and also as a attacking mid, quite invaluable for what will hopefully be well over 50 games next season
Also we just signed Bergvall, be a kick in the nuts for him to loose the guy who helped convince him to come

Could the dreary, woke freaks that follow the club do a Twitter pile on and block this like they did with Gattuso

As opposed to you right wing nut jobs.

:nunothumb:

Stupid fucking post.

As for our transfer business, you lot still care? We're achieving fuck all under Levy & ENIC so might as well buy more English players and help the national team.

Gray is a good start and I'd take Gallagher over that Danish fraud (Viking for his country, Robbie Savage wannabe for us) any day of the week.
