...and yet it can happen the other way round, and we STILL get shafted!
:cunt:

Gallagher being a Chelsea fan SHOULDN'T matter...

It didn't matter to Arse fans that Campbell was a Spurs fan... It was one up on us!

Granted, Gallagher doesn't have anywhere near Sol's ability AS a footballer...
But us getting him from Chelsea SHOULD annoy them way more than it does us!
We don’t need him or the Villa kid. They are not game changers especially at the prices quoted. Just watched the hearts game and no way are they £50Ms worth better than Alfie or burgvhall or even hall. Both the former two played great. Same with Spence. For RB we should give him as much game time as possible and see how he gets on. Scored a lovely goal and got behind them with pace. We have Archie as well to cover RB. We need to buy proper star quality not players who are no better than what we have or any of our youngsters. Will scored a nice finish and same with Moore. Give them a chance first before wasting money on average players.

I know it was only Hearts, but there's a few things to think about :

Djed Spence might be the LB/RB we need. Lets see how he does in rest of pre-season

A lot of youngsters shone today
- Gray at CB (yet we thought he was DM/RB) but he's definitely going to be part of Spurs squad next season
- Donley played out of position at LB yet looking good
- Mikey Moore is going to a great sub : at age 16 we don't want to over play him but he's going to surprise a few teams
- Will Lankshear, may be loaned out but looks to have a real future as a Spurs level striker
= Luca Bergvall, Alfie Devine, Tyrese Hall and others .........

......... the future is Lilywhite. And some of these will play for Spurs next season !

Lots looked good against Hearts, but it was Hearts, the third best team in a two horse league. Royal knocked more money off his transfer fee as well, clutz.
Spence looked good going forward, but I think it was going the other way he had issues with in the past.
The young lads looked good in the second half, some of our more established failed to impress in the first half though
