Seeing as everyone is so hot on strikers and players from the Championship, why hasn't anyone mentioned this absolute baller 🔥🔥

Sammy Szmodics done bits for Blackburn last season but not one mention of him, how comes?

We should put a bid hin for him before we miss out and moan that we can't sign him next Summer when he costs twice as much

We missed out on Gyokeres last season and not one of you said we should be signing him so let's not make the mistake again

Tekkers! 🔥🔥🔥

Yes, we have money! But it's not for buying players. It's for a rainy day.
Levy's MO has always been only buy players and pay wages with money we got within the club, unlike some other clubs.

And i don't see him changing that stance.

And with us pulling record revenues, we will buy some good players.

Wasn't there som figures flying around on here the other day, that we were amongst the biggest spenders in world football in the last 5-8 seasons or something?

Or we could do a Everton and use like 92% of our incomes on buys and wages?!

He’s going to be 29 this September …

I think he will come off the left with Richarlison in the middle and Johnson right, at least to start the season. Son and Richi can switch positions during the game. Toney is one dimensional. So yes, for what we want a forward to do Son is better.
so son is a better striker than toney because he will come off the left hahahah. gota ya.

did you not pay attention last year?? son is fucking shit as a striker! cant head the ball, hasnt got any fight in duals! literally needs space to get shots away. useless.

That's exactly my point about Levynomics.

We all know Toney isn't likely to be #1 on the list of forwards for Ange or Lange but people are telling themselves it will be OK if we sign him as the more affordable option later in the window.

But I'm also saying that Gray for that kind fo money at 18 from the Championship shows a different level of conviction and trust in the recruitment team. Maybe we can expect the club to be more ambitious and get a player further up the list...
Archie Gray is on about £70k a week apparently. And that's probably max wages based on performance.
Top players, signed for top fees will earn 2 or 3 times that. Plus all the other fees and back handers. Plus the payment terms with the club you're buying from.

And yet our wage turnover is the lowest in the PL. 46% of one of the highest incomes in world football.
And we wonder why we sign players that often don't perform.

I’d say we don’t need to replace PEH and skipp give these guys a go place any from the academy. Manure did it with mainoo. Everyone moaned about boregate not being brave well it’s time for the club and Ange to be brave. We should be buying players just for the sake of it as replacements and squad fillers. If anyone can say buying a £25M average player is better than giving g say a gray or bergvhall a chance is good then no help. Save the £25M to go for some proper quality in positions we need.
