You're not on my ignore list but I know you have something ready to go for when we sign a donkey like McFred.
What ya got?

We should be greatful someone would swap the might Man U for Spurs?
Shows how much progress we've made that we can take a player they hardly use from them?
Guys got 52 caps for his country - must be great?

Nah mate, I would not be impressed with Scott Mctominay and would find no reason to support it.

If it were to happen I would be completely baffled and would lose my faith in our new team in charge of finding and purchasing players for the manager.

But, what i do know, and something i also know you do deep down, is no matter how many players we get linked to which is bullshit - like 90% of them, there will be people with ready-made negative comments waiting to go - and that may not bother you - and it doesn't really bother me that much, its just weird that it happens over and over and over again and we don't fucking sign any of these players that people waste their time moaning about.

Just having a warm body additional striker would raise our floor quite a bit. David and Richarlison doesn't raise the ceiling a ton, but being able to always have a legitimate striker out there rather than subbing Son there or playing with a false 9 would be a bit help.

If we added David and Chiesa for a price less than Gyokeres would cost, I think I'd go that route. Son/Werner on the left, David/Richarlison in the middle, Johnson/Chiesa on the right with Deki only in emergencies and mostly playing MF. It's not elite but it's far deeper in quality than what got us 5th last year.
Interesting. So your philosophy is that we should be looking to strengthen depth rather than go for the highest quality individual player? Could you expand on that position?

I get you, even agree to an extent, but can you honestly say he's a £75M player?

I know you and others want a striker, but have you seen enough of him to believe he's a needle mover? A£75M outlay absolutely needs to move the needle. I know three fifths of fuck all about Gyokeres, so I have no idea if he would.

Be that as it may, I was more alluding to the fact that Utd have been utter tripe in identifying good players, then paying massively over the top for the absolute shite they've gotten. So they're not really a good comparison when it comes to paying out vast sums of money.
Saw him play live in April, hatrick and an assist and first touch like Berba, and strong. May not transcend to PL but saw enough to think he’ll do well, all round game was class (even if he only scores say 15 PL)

This is why you're not on ignore.
You're not irrational like the others.
If levy told them 2 plus 2 was 5, they'd argue it on here until they passed out.

What does he do well? I don’t see him as an upgrade on Son or Richy quite honestly.

Much much better link up play than both.

Issue with David is he's not ruthless, like the numbers suggest. He'll go from missing a chance he should score, to then going to score two.

Great positionally which is why he scores so many. Lille create alot of chances for him. So much so that he should probably hit 30+ goals a season. And he doesn't.

Incredibly hard worker. But I assume that's why we are interested. Son and Richarlison are the best pressing forwards in the entire Premier League, may even be in all of Europe.

I always said I'd have no issue with David aslong as the winger we got in was the game changer because we aren't signing a big name striker with Richarlison still here. And three young strikers to develop

I reckon if he signed, he'd comfortably hit 15+ league goals. Might come in clusters, so may go 5 or 6 games without one, but then score 5 in 5 etc. - but we create so much he will score.

Looks like he may be off to Roma anyway.

Has Richarlison ever scored 19 or 24 goals in a season?

+ Strengths

Finishing - Strong
Holding on to the ball - Strong
Passing - Strong
