This is why you're not on ignore.
You're not irrational like the others.
If levy told them 2 plus 2 was 5, they'd argue it on here until they passed out.
mctominay would make zero sense. not only is he not good enough and massively overpriced, we are stacked in midfield and if anything need to offload one or two.

i would be shocked if that happened.

hes a west ham level midfielder at best.

United dropped 40 on Zirkzee. Not sure if that was release clause and up front or not?

And now 50m up front of 59m for Yoro.

Forget opinions on players because time will tell but it's a stark contrast with us not wanting to pay the large chunk of the Eze release clause up front...

All I can say is fuck Jonathan David or Ivan Toney, go and get the names at the top of the list.

Haven't they just got a massive sponsorship deal?

He scored 19 goals last season.
Fewer goals in that league than Lacazette. Who is sure as shit not as good as Toney.

For the record I do rate Jonathan David (although I have concerns about whether his physicality translates to the Prem), but can we please stop just comparing strikers based purely on goal numbers? It's such lightweight analysis.

Question without notice, who here wishes we joined in on the clubs with FFP issues by buying and selling academy players before June 30 for inflated fees?
1) We have no need to, the stadium revenues give us a huge leeway in terms of FFP. What holds back our spending is available capital, not FFP, and the reports are Levy is looking for investment to enable us to do just that.

2) Who would we even sell for profit? Skipp would bring in the most, maybe 10-15m. Much better to give these guys some time on the pitch which will raise their values. Wouldn't surprise me if we have a good 5 academy players worth 20m plus come the end of the season, so long as Ange plays them.
