This is all well and good but why wasn't anyone talking about him last Summer? If anyone has watched the Super Liga the quality isn't far off the Championship and he was joint 2nd highest top scorer in that league.

I think he's a decent striker but for £80m is hilarious especially since he was £20m this time last year, are we really saying a year in the Super Liga increases your value by 300%?, come on lets be serious.
So much of what you end up having to pay for a player is due to how long they have left on his contract, I suspect that's the main reason for the difference in quoted fee from last year. I'd bet he had about a year or two left on his Coventry contract and likely signed a 5 year deal when he moved. That's not to say that's what they're genuinely expecting to get for him either, it's their opening position.

He actually has a release clause of £80m

It is him right?

I'm not going mad?

Don’t get me wrong £60m is a dream of a fee for Richarlison, to actually make a slight profit on him is incredible. Snap their hands off. But it must be reinvested into a real striker.
I'm not sure if you can say that about The Saudis anymore!!

It’s so joyfully childish! I’m from over that way and far preferred going to Griffin Park - but that’s because qpr had so many glory fans
Imagine such a thing.... Glory Hunting QPR fans..

It should be like Glory hunting Leicester fans from 2016 onwards!

Mainly because I just don’t trust the board to open their wallet this summer without any major player sales and I don’t trust the board to sign off on player sales for less than the type of fees they want for some of our players.
But the club have always maintained that all profit will be invested back into the team.

So surely the minimum we should expect is roughly £100 plus million on player acquisitions? We absolutely have to see another significant purchase.

At a minimum.
