Yes I know we were 4-0 down but Toney gives you none of the things Richy brought to get us back into that game.
What nonsense.

Depends what the club needs.
Pure 9: Haaland, Watkins, Richarlison (even though he can play wing he isn’t a 10), Lewondowski
9/10: Kane, Toney, Benzema
Does the club need a rounded striker like Toney or a pure box/runner like Richarlison. That is a tactical decision and yes I know Toney and Richarlison aren’t the same quality as Kane or Haaland.
Richarlison was more prolific than Son and Salah last season.
Agree.
I have a question about Gyokeres who we have been linked with. Is he in one box striker#9 style or the 9/10 style?
Openda can play wide but when I’ve watched him he’s been much more box striker running channels
Good for Spurs too if he can stay fit.
I think that's generally the problem here...
Other than the fact that he's just not really good enough regardless.
Why was Werner on the table ?
Because there's a deal to be done
We can't resist

Let’s say he can stay fit, I think 18-20 goals would not be beyond him. That is good, if we lose him then we should be looking at players above that. Pointless if we get rid of him and just get another decent striker, we would need elite.
If Richarlison is sold for £60m and we pump £80m for Goykeres then it makes more sense.
That’s why I don’t like statistics per minute for players that are unavailable a lot. You don’t play much because you sit on bench - then it makes sense to measure it like that. If you’re injured a lot, I would personally include every minute you’re not available for selection as minute without involvement in goal to have a better picture. That’s fair. Richarlison was the 8th most prolific player in the premier league last season (goals per 90, more than 500 minutes played). That’s more than Salah.
His problem is staying fit.
Pathetic. Need to get rid. Remember the days when players actually played through injuries.Imagine swapping a player who will be available for the majority of the season vs one who is available for about 1/3 and only shows up for about half of those.

Correct. Stats are false as fuck. Eyes are better. That’s why I don’t like statistics per minute for players that are unavailable a lot. That should also be a factor.
He doesn’t really. He runs about but I don’t think I actually saw him disposses anybody last season. One helps you win the ball back way more than he might lose it from miscontrolling it.

Form vs Ability is always tough to judge. You can put up the clips from other games which is the flip side to that where he can’t control the ball and give it away all the time. Bournemouth,Luton and Palace away are abysmal performances from a professional.
