I see no reason why Villa would
A) sell a promising HG player
B) want an injury prone replacement
The £20m of course would sound nice to them, but they don't really need the money anymore for FFP reasons.

No what he said was that Gray chose Brentford, which he did, and then had a change or heart the next day.
I'd find Ramsey really underwhelming. Injury prone and after a decent start to his career has tailed off quite a bit. I guess he'd be cover for Maddison as an AM but to me its another squad player who doesnt improve the team. Just buy some players who go straight into the team day 1.
Also takes away minutes from our own prospects. Not a fan of the move at all.
