You can't make this shit up honestly.

Few folks on here were admant Levy wouldn't even sell him this summer..... am sure they will just move onto the next thing to complain about and forget how wrong they were again about something to do with spurs in the transfer market.

Unfortunately we have a lot of hypocritical / stupid “supporters”.

For me, the minimum we should be accepting is the following match day squad.

Son - Toney - Eze*
Maddison
Gray - Bissouma**
Udogie - VDV - Romero - Porro
Vicario

Bench
Austin
Dragusin
Davies (preferably a new left footed defender)
Spence (genuinely happy for him to replace Royal)
Bergvall/Bentancur
Sarr
Johnson
Kulusevski
Richarlison (or Lankshear if Richy goes)

* mainly left wing but assuming Son would get priority
** if Biss is in form and playing like the start of last season.

Seems more than reasonable to expect the club to sign Eze/Toney from a financial perspective. Better player than Toney would be ideal.

Would obviously like us to be stronger than that but come on, this is Levy we’re talking about.
---Vic--
---Porro----Romero----VDV---Udogie---
---Bissouma---
---Bergvall-------------Eze---
---Neto------------Tony--------Maddison---

This would be a good foundation for a new era of winning, under Ange.

Anything other than this sort of thing, isn't really serious.

And we're just doing a whole load of talking (as usual).

With Hojberg gone, 655k pw is off the wage bill with 100k pw added via Gray / Bergvall.
Strictly speaking not true because we paid off N’Dombele, probably writing off more than half of his wages.
Would be great to get GLC’s wages completely off of the books but wouldn’t be surprised if we end up doing something more creative i.e subsidizing his exit in some way.

Additional thought: If Hjolberg’s initial move is a loan then presumably he’s on the same (Spurs) wages for the upcoming season. Are we picking up any of that?

We'd also need PSG to not pull the trigger, which is possible cause they want to buy Osimhen and Joao Neves, but then they might also get a lot of money from Ugarte and Xavi Simmons. Right now I think it's a long shot, but it's possible.
Yeah,

I think De Ligt and Alphonso Davis might leave too so it's not necessarily in our hands yet.

wait and see.
