LoCelso, Gil, Royal, Regulion to go plus maybe Skipp and Solomon.

The years between 2018 and 2022 really fucked us, the post stadium build was meant to be the period of rebuilding but we ended up collecting a load of shit as we chopped and changed strategies and structure, look at the mess we ended up with.

We failed a few of those players as well though, we were pretty much an unsettled club for those years and we bought players in suited to a certain play style but had managers who played totally different, youngsters weren't being bought through either.

We really should have cut Poch loose after the CL final and hired another similar manager who wanted to make his name at Spurs.

Poch basically said before the final that if we won he was going to quit at the top, you could tell it'd taken a toll on him and he wanted a break/change.

Instead we brought him back, things got ugly, and Levy stumbled through the next few seasons trying to find a manager with a successful CV who could push the right buttons and win something with that squad before it fell apart rather than someone who could continue building.

Don't remember there being any names tossed about that summer that actually went on to success though, so maybe it would have gone tits up anyway.

Used to post on the same board as Bankrupt - was a genuine fella back then so if this is him then I'd imagine he's posting in good faith

Don't say that.

TBH we were all misty eyed with Poch that we thought that he could lead us into the new generation of managing the club post stadium build and if we were thinking that then the board were probably thinking it as well.

Poch needed the growth 1-2 seasons before it happened, the team and Poch where on gas when it started. The season after we finished second ideally we would have been looking at the 2-3 stars to continue the improvement just like Arse have been doing season after season with Arteta.

if you stand still you go backwards. Poch plays a way that requires good legs, they were done at the end. You can say the stadium is the reason and the lack of financial backing but that can’t happen again, no excuses now.

Yeah. There was a fair amount of confusion/displeasure with his comments preceding the final, though.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but he did seem done with Spurs before that match and it obviously would have been best to find someone to take over the project than bandaids like Mourinho and Conte either side of Nuno, all of which were disastrous.

Basically the people who have only ever been itk have found out info by mistake. Bumping into someone on holiday or knowing someone where a medical is carried out.

Levy has everyone sign NDAs who are involved in aspects of work with spurs in my experience. That has to include transfers because it does in other aspects of the club’s business which isn’t as important as the football team. That’s why the bullshit merchants on SC who frequently give out info are so obviously full of shit.

Anyone else who gets info will be from agents who value the truth very loosely. Hit or miss.
You don't think people would risk their livelihood in order to pass on info to a guy who doesn't know how to spell properly?
