Given ours and their injury problems last season, a look at the 2nd half of each of our seasons shows a similar record between the two teams, despite our problems ceasing and theirs continuing.
We all laughed at their starting 11 when they twatted us 4-0

So no, we're not much better than them. We just had a shorter, less severe injury crisis last season than them. And still got twatted.

If this was to happen and we sat on our hands, it would be rather embarrassing.
However, we don't know it will happen and we don't know if we have sat on our hands or if Eze has refused to do anything for the Euro's and his holiday.

Yes we are much better than them. In their team how many of their players would you take over ours? Two. Gordon and Isak. Guimares at a push but that’s it. If we had those two we’d be about 15 to 20 points better off. Fix our forward issues and we kick on big time.

Possibly but you make out fixing the forward line is easy - it could cost 200M
 
I like Richie , I think when Fit he showed what he can do in the PL - I just think if we are being brutally honest if we want to compete at the top we should be aiming for someone better as I don't have faith in Richie to be fit and chip in with 20+ goals & Assists next season so if we can get anywhere near £60 million we should be taking it.
 
I don’t really believe City will go for Eze. They are absolutely stacked for ball carriers now - Savio, Grealish, Doku, Bobb, Bernardo, Foden. If De Bruyne is going, they need more of conductor type which Eze isn’t really.

Yeah fair and Johnson and Kulu are decent back ups too.

Who we getting then? I don’t think it’s that difficult to upgrade 9, Richy out for 30M and drop another 45M for Gyokeres, then I would just go Eze. No other incoming players until Jan

Work the squad via youth and upcoming younger players

We'll see next season. But fully fit and not suspended, there's nothing to separate the 2 teams.

AND when they figure out how to bend FFP they'll be dangerous.
