Not like it's a tactic of Baldcunt to wait until a bigger club swoops in, then it's "omg we were in for him, we were ready to do it... we did try, guys!"

The lord of all bastard cunts, that man.
Completely revisionist. There were links of Eze to City while the Euro was still in the group stages and there was 100% no negotiations going on with English national team players.

We may get Eze, as I suspect the KDB links are bollocks. It's possible he's the best player in Manchester, selling him would be bizarre for a club that wants to call itself the best in the world. But if there was ever a ray of hope in the idea that City would be in for him, Palace and Eze were never going to put pen to paper while it existed.

KDB was properly average last season (even poor at times).

He's done at top (top) level.

1) Have to have been a regular 'face' at one or more of; The Bell & Hare, Corner Pin, Coach 'n' Horses or The Antwerp Arms back in the day....

2) Don't wear colours on a matchday... maybe a pin badge at most?

3) Was at either Mansfield away (2-2) in the pissing rain, or Southampton (0-0) to seal promotion in 1977/78...

4) Have taken the North Bank at least once in their 'career'...

5) Froth at the mouth at the way modern football has changed...

If all those criteria are met, then I doubt they'd even give 2 shits about transfer tittle-tattle online, do you?

** Full disclosure, I get a feeling I've just described a number of people on this forum who qualify for at least 3 or more of the above!!
Renamed 8 on account of they charge £8 for a pint. :levylol:

The second half of the season our laboured build up play didn't provide many opportunities for sprints.
A lot of that was down to how teams set up against us. If teams wanted to go toe to toe in every game we’d win most games but for pretty much every team apart from 3 or 4 they will sit in and bore the life out of us. Sometimes these shit teams will score and our intensity really has to go up as we seen that many times.

Ange definitely wanted players in before the tour.

I think it was the plan to get them in before the tour but it hasn’t worked out that way.
Yeah it's not ideal.

The best Ange can do now is use the tour to figure out which of the academy guys will stick around and which position he will utilise Gray and Bergvall in.

Hopefully now that Dragusin is back we will see Gray playing in a position that he will actually get minutes in this season.

I have heard terrible stories about south American footballers being surrounded by scroungers sucking every penny they have out of them. It's the reason the players will literally go anywhere for a phat cheque. Think about the players that went to Russia & China back when they were throwing it around, and now Saudi.
That was exactly the root cause of the mental health issues, he said as much

It’s not perfect and not the way they planned it for sure. If they planned well they had contingencies for how best to use the tour.

I guess players could join the tour halfway through? I don’t think we signed anyone on the tour last year because Levy was also out there for the jolly.

sell rich for 60 and get toney for 40 is a no brainer. next year needs a serious overhaul of the wingers. its clearly not going to happen this year but if the club is serious it cant keep accepting mediocrity up there.

kulu and johnson need to prove they are without a doubt good enough this year, it needs to be sons final year anyway.
January 2025 Or next season 2025/26?
